Cake Studio

Nina and David made our wedding cake this past weekend and it was everything I'd hoped for and more! I couldn't wait to see it and Nina did not disappoint! She has an incredible talent making sugar paste flowers to decorate the cakes by hand and it's seriously awe-inspiring! They look so real and absolutely beautiful I cannot recommend Cake Studio enough!!! They know just how to make such an important detail perfect and it was a pleasure to work with them!

Cannot say enough about how much we loved our cake and working with Nina and David too!. They made the entire experience so enjoyable and personable. They took into account everything we said we had wanted and made it come to life and even more incredible than we hoped.

We talked to several bakeries before booking someone to make make our wedding cake, but it wasn't until we met with Nina that I felt truly seen. She really understood what we wanted in our cake design, and she created a masterpiece for us that used elements from the inspiration photos we sent her, elements from my dress, and a touch of Nina's own brand of magic to pull it together. I still can't get over the realistic sugar roses she made for us; people thought they were real flowers but these ones I can keep forever. She really went above and beyond to accommodate us, and the cake itself was absolutely delicious! I would be happy to eat it every single day.

Cake studio made our cake for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the result! It was beyond anything I could have imagined and truly the wedding cake of our dreams. Nina makes the whole process so much fun from the flavour sampling to the design process and everything in-between. Nina has so much knowledge of the wedding industry and was so helpful with planning tips and guiding us through the process of creating our dream cake. Cake Studio even made the entire cake gluten free as my husband and I both have a gluten allergy. The cake was so delicious none of our guests knew it was gluten free! We were completely blown away with the attention to detail and the hand made flowers will be a keepsake that we will forever cherish. Nina surprised us with the most delicate gold paw prints on the bottom layer of our cake to incorporate our beloved dog Archie into our wedding. She really takes the time to get to know you as a couple and puts her heart and soul into her cakes and it shows, her cakes are absolute masterpieces and it was the best tasting wedding cake I've ever had!

Nina and her husband are now regarded as family friends to us! They are so warm and kind, and not to forget they are also super talented! Nina worked within my budget and executed the exact cake that I wanted for our wedding. The cake tasting was quite the experience and she showed up during our cake cutting at the reception to show us exactly what to do in order to ensure that our photographer got the best pictures. Highly recommended! My husband and I will be referring any brides that we come across as well as having you all as our “preferred bakers” for any of our future cake needs! Many thanks again! :

We ordered our wedding cake from Nina at Cake Studio. It tuned out incredible! She custom made our cake with a design I had come up with. Also, we had to change our date due to covid and push it a month and thy were very accommodating. THANK YOU xoxo

Unfortunately, a family member of mine had to cancel their services. They informed Nina/Cake Studio of the cancellation 13 days ahead of the service date, at which point Nina had told her she had just begun sketching the design. Sadly, Nina/Cake Studio's response was not professional and quite unsympathetic to the cancellation. Nina had asked for details as to why the service was cancelled which should not be any of her concern and should especially not be asked when your client is already crying and obviously emotional, she asked if my family member believed in God religion should not have anything to do with this and she also told her that she's not the only bride with problems and that there are other brides who have problems also. Nina had gone so far as to reveal that one of her brides had a groom pass away, that another bride had already switched her date 3 times and that another bride had cancelled because she felt her partner was not the right person for her. If i were those clients, I would not want Nina mentioning that to anyone, regardless of the emission of their names. Nina refused to return any of the money and she refused to accommodate any of the requested alternate options including transferring of services to another bride, having the cake made for a birthday, and just having the cake made for the original day of service but without an event. She stated that she had spoken to her lawyer and they said that even though full payment was received that Nina/Cake Studio did not owe my family member anything. All other vendors booked for my family member's event were very sympathetic and understanding and accommodating, and just as importantly, very professional. They did not pry for details, they did not reveal details about other clients and did not bring religion into the situation. There is so much more that could be said and that was said, but I will simply leave this here as it is. Wishing all brides and grooms the best of luck on their weddings and I genuinely hope you do not have to go through such a situation as my family member did with Nina Notaro and Cake Studio.

We got our wedding cake from Cake Studio, and we were very pleased with the whole experience. Nina took the time to learn about us as a couple, and then designed a beautiful cake around that. She went above and beyond, and we really appreciate it! Nina was such a pleasure to work with.

Nina's exquisite cake was the star of the show. Nina's artistry is unbelievable and the cake exceeded anything we had imagined. Nina was so easy and fun to work with. We let her design our cake for our intimate wedding this year and she surprised us with a simple, beautiful and elegant cake. It was just like how we imagined it. Perfect cake for our intimate wedding. It was so delicious and our fam and friends enjoyed it. Totally recommend Cake Studio. We will be working with Nina & David again next year for our reception wedding cake. Can’t wait!!
