How much are the cakes?
Because each cake is custom made, depending on the occasion and clients needs, a standard price list is not available.
How do I order a cake?

What is your payment policy?
on event cakes A $30.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your order and date. Your order is not confirmed until I have received your $30.00 non-refundable deposit.
Cancellation on cake orders other than weddings. If your order is not cancelled a week prior to the date. You will be responsible for 50% of the total cost, unless you reschedule your order for a latter date with in a month's time.
All wedding cake and grooms cakes require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of the order unless other terms have been made at time of consult. All Cakes must be paid in full a month before there pick up date unless other wise set up with the staff. There are no refunds on Wedding cakes even if the wedding is canceled. Why because I have to save your date that means turning down other business to book your date. If you change your date, any changes have to be with in a year of paid deposit or you forfeit that deposit paid. We cannot hold deposit more than a year because of Tax reasons. No refunds on wedding cakes.
Our required
minimum: Wedding Cakes $160.00 Grooms Cakes $80.00. Unless other agreements have been made with Ginger.
To price your cakes, there are four elements to be aware of:

The second element: Time
The third element: Overhead
The fourth element: Delivery
Delivery and set up: (On normal working days) $60.00 in town of Jonesboro. $80.00 and up out of town depending on how far we have to go.
Additional charges will apply for non normal days of operation Sat., Sun., Mon and Holidays.
Cake Stands $30.00 (a deposit is required for us to hold for rental deposit. Stand must be returned three days after wedding date to avoid additional daily rental fees of $20.00 a day. If stand is not returned within 10 days or is damaged we will keep the deposit for any damages).

Local grocery store sells their cakes for $15! I can't match that price, much less beat it! Never, ever compare your prices to the local shopping center or grocery store. People can't get the same cake at local grocery store that they get from me. That cake at local grocery store was made months ago, flash-frozen, and shipped to the store, where an employee working as quickly as he/she could frosted it with icing from a bucket, and maybe added some airbrushing or buttercream roses. That employee probably had 50 other cakes to complete in the same shift. The difference between your cake and local shopping center cake can be likened to the difference between custom garments and off-the-rack clothes. Say you went to a seamstress, consulted with her about the perfect fabric and cut for your body type, discussed your coloring, took measurements, went back for several fittings, and in the end had an exquisite dress, hand-made with excruciating attention to detail, perfect for your body and your coloring. When the seamstress required payment, you would not tell her that a local shopping center dress costs $14.99, so that's all you should pay. The two products are not comparable.
People in this area are used to local shopping center prices, they won't pay much more than that.
You'd be surprised. It won't take long for your customers to realize that you are providing the kind of cake that the local shopping center simply can't. Will the local shopping center match a baby shower cake to an invitation? Will they accept fabric swatches of bridesmaids' wedding dresses to ensure a perfectly color coordinated wedding cake? Will they respond to multiple emails from a mother who's worried about making her daughter's bridal shower perfect in every way? No!
So please take this into consideration when placing your order.
