Our goal is to enrich our community and their talents by making improv accessible to everyone. While the Cal Stage Clubhouse's main focus will be improvisational acting, we will enrich those skills with a supplement of peer teachers and directors. At the Clubhouse we want to grow and learn from each other; everything can relate back to improv, which, in turn, can relate to what we do in our daily lives. Any player who attends workshops regularly can sign up to be a Guest Peer Teacher; the supplemental classes will range from character building to movement, sketch writing to yoga and martial arts. The Clubhouse will also provide its players with information about fun and exciting projects or events happening around town, and encourages its players to share projects they are working on locally. We want to build a creative, supportive community in Sacramento!
