Spoke to someone in room 5 because I needed a permanent restraining order for extenuating circumstances. The woman that sat down with me was VERY condescending, cold, VICTIM BLAMED/SHAMED me, absolutely made me disgusted and made me feel like I am just stuck in this situation and it will never be over because the justice system DOES NOT care. I have no idea what to do, where to go, have no money for a lawyer, and no one in ANY of the government buildings/are in office take me seriously. So I guess once this person kidnaps my kids or murders me, maybe then they will take it seriously. Ridiculous.
The office staff do their best to help each customer find and locate the things they are needing in a timely manner. It's also a good place to work.
My complain in for the Civil Division room #1. I called about a week ago to summit and process some documents, the lady who I spoke was very nice and profesional, gave me instructions on what to do and after a week of waiting for a confirmation I received a document saying that I open a case in their county witch I did not. Called again an talked to TOM the supervisor for the civil division and he was rude, have no understanding and basically told me that was I wanted to do was ilegal in their state when all I did was to follow the instructions they provided over the phone the first time I called. Court house employees like him should get a training on how to handle people when the court house provides wrong instructions and information. We maintain this type government offices with our taxes so they should have a little bit more respect to people that calls with questions and concerns.
Your court is not accomodating to those out of state recepient of tickets who made an effort to appear in court. I appeared there with a cell phone and i ride in an Uber. This was 1/27/20. The guards told me to go away, u have a cell phone, cell phone not allowed here, come back without one. Im a commercial vehicle driver. I cannot bring my semi truck & trailer downtown coz its not a truck route for sure i will get another ticket. So i left it in a truck stop nearby & use Uber. I made phone calls to the court that they will accomodate me and the answer is the same. Pls improve your system. Your court did not give me an opportunity to defend myself which in itself discriminatory and a form of INJUSTICE.
