This place is so beautiful with great Long Island history. It’s nice to walk around the trails. There is a bunch of history written about the wyandanch club that used to be there. A lot of people bring their families here and take photos, especially around peak fall season. Nice!
It's a beautiful park, and they kept it quiet clean. Place by the lake is really good. Good amount of benches through out the park. Parking fees applied. I think fall is the best time for this place.
Very nice park, worth going back
Beautiful place to explore and take a stroll. Take a hike and explore the surrounding.
It is an okay state park, but the staff there is really rude. Some old lady was screaming for us to leave in 5 on the dot. If you go there, go early. Also, they are closed on Monday. What a weird day to be closed. Also, it is not that big and the lake is okay. There are way better areas close by.
State park $8 for paking with a small museum, peaceful, large pond, walkways, very quite location where one can be silent, meditate if so desired and be one with sorrounding nature.
Nice spot on Long Island; sent on a sunday [no cost parking] though we didn't know that at the time. Well maintained, clean, easy to get around. Look for deer they are there & don't run away when people approach. Interesting place to spend an hour or two.
Nice walking trails out into a wooded area by the creek. In mid-spring here there’s a lot of wildlife! Our kids enjoyed seeing geese and goslings, swans, and three deer.
This state park is truly a hidden gem. The walls and the bird preserve is amazing. The fly fishing school and activities look fantastic. Great afternoon to enjoy the outdoors.
Long Island has so many beautiful parks and preserves! Caleb Smith, tucked away in Smithtown, but so accessible and beautiful in any season, especially Fall!
