We built our home in 2015 with a basic Master Closet approximately 12’ x 6’. It had the standard Wire Racks for hanging clothes and stocking shoes on three walls. In 2022, we decided to retire to FL and then thought of re-doing the closet space. After a few months of prioritizing our home furnishing purchases, we were ready to upgrade our Master Closet. We are a very simple, retiree couple. We wanted nothing more than a functional, inviting, space; a closet that would add value to our home without breaking our retirement budget. We did our due diligence, got three bids, and finally selected California Closets to build us a custom closet. Although all three bids were similar in price, and all construction materials and methods were likewise similar, California Closets appeared to have a more seasoned operation with one of their onsite designers, Liz Kudlak. California Closets also offered a discount and no interest financing via a Goldman Sachs company without any down payment a plus, especially for retirees. Liz began the design for our new Master Closet upon meeting her for the first time, walking into her Vero Beach location. She came out to our home, viewed and measured the space, and updated her design with our input. After a couple of exchanged emails, we confirmed an installation date with their operations staff. On our end, Liz recommended us a contractor to prep our space for installation. Even this recommendation was top-shelf good price, on schedule and great job. On the day of the Master Closet installation, the two-man crew arrived on time and began working immediately. With a scheduled delivery of our custom drawers by another crew, the Master Closet was installed in one day. Except for a call back to complete a couple of minor details, our final product unusually tall by our design was simply Great! Everything we wished for. Needless to say, we believe that we made the right choice with California Closets. Having been in business for over 50 years, California Closets are definitely doing it right!Service: Closet design
