Dr. Hong teaches prosthodontics at the UCSF School of Dentistry as a course director and he received the Thomas Curtis Teaching award from UCSF in 2014 and 2016."

I normally have to drive 2 hours away but I don’t mind doing so because he’s an extremely skilled dentist. He always takes his time to make sure my teeth look good and healthy. I’ve never had a problem after each visit and the staff has always been professional and friendly.
Dr. Hong is amazing. I had a very bad experience with shabby services from other dental practice and went to Dr. Hong after a referral from a friend to fix things, and he fixed everything perfectly.
Great I love Joan, she is the best Dental Hygienist I could ever have asked for. So thorough in her cleaning and checking. Also Dolores at the front desk is a gem. And last but not least, Dr Hong. He will be conservative and won't just fill for fillings' sake. You won't get better dental care anywhere. My aunt is a retired dental hygienist, I feel lucky I took the referral from her to come here almost 10 years ago now.
Dr. Hong and his staff are truly professional and friendly. My teeth and gums were cleaned thoroughly and I didn’t have any soreness afterwards. I highly recommend this place.
A family referral led me to California Dental Specialty Group. I was greeted well by the front desk and all the paper work was quick. I was seen as scheduled. I was treated by Dr. Kavitha Ravi, who was extremely knowledgeable and professional. She patiently explained the procedure and was courteous. She spent time and was gentle. Her assistant, Britney did a great job taking my full mouth x-rays. I definitely recommend Dr. Ravi and her team. Very neat office and best dental care!!
If you are looking for a fine dentist, look for Dr. Sung Je Hong. He is an expert in all phases of general dentisty, prosthodontics and implantology. The result is top of the line. I've been going to his clinic for several years, and I always saw on his face a total dedication to his job, making sure all of his patients are happy and satisfied. His hygienist, Joan, also performs her job very well with gentleness on her hands. Dr. Hong delivers his work with great quality and assurance. Valery Serebrennikov
