Our goal at California Reef Co. is to provide our valued customers with a one of a kind experience when it comes to browsing and shopping. We've taken the time to design our store so that the layout is spacious and the space is inviting. You will enjoy browsing our vast collection of coral and exotic fish and livestock at your leisure.

Along with carrying a variety of aquarium products, livestock and tank accessories, we also offer custom tank builds and service maintenance. California Reef Co. supplies custom designed light fixture mounts by LeRusso Designs and offers a variety of standard as well as custom cabinets to allow you unlimited design options during your tank build!

I got to this store in search of good fishes for my aquarium Freash Water . I came to know a lot about corals though owner knows i was not lookng for it . But he spent complete 45 minutes with explaining how and what about corals . its very close to my place and I liked the response , enthusiasm and professionalism by the shop owner. Good place if you want to have corals and get good details about it.
Best saltwater fish and coral store in the east bay. The 2 guys that own the place are friendly and helpful. Sometimes they are limited on selection of fish, but their corals look very healthy and are well priced. They keep their prices low by fragging things small but that's good for those with smaller tanks that want to grow their coral.
Small store, but huge selection of corals. Everything looks nice and healthy. Smaller selection of fish that is hit or miss. Owners are friendly and very helpful. Clearly very knowledgeable about their trade. Good resource for your saltwater needs.
Great people, great knowledge, honest and willing to help. Also, good selection of coral and fish, I like the fact that they are willing to order specific specimens of fish or coral. Got several good deals and definitely my go to salt water fish store in the Bay Area.
Anthony and Matt are extremely helpful and knowledgable. The store is clean and well laid out. There's an awesome selection of frags and the dry goods are priced similar to online. Jonathan, the owner is really cool too!
When I walked in the store it looked like it was in the middle of revovation or closing. The staff assured me it has been like that for a while. Did not give me the best confidence but I am always will to support a local store. The stores prices seem fair and the staff was nice but there corals are full of pests and aptaisa. I bought 4 corals and found aptaisa growing on all of them. It took a me quite a long time to clear them out. Be very careful what you buy from them.
Great friendly customer service. Good prices and selection on coral. Smaller selection of fish, but great for the novice. Very helpful and will take care of you!
California Reef helped me set my first fish tank. They have a sound knowledge about fresh water and salt water fish tanks, explained me the process step by step and gave right guidance throughout the process. Very honest and passionate in their opinions. Most importantly their saltwater fish collection is impressive, limited but unique freshwater fishes, turtles.
Very professional salt water tank maintenance. Anthony is very consistent and reliable and goes above and beyond to be accomodating. Recommend for tank maintenance!
I really like this store they have an excellent selection of corals that other stores do not have as well as reasonable prices. I would recommend this place to anyone whether they are a beginner or expert as the staff is very helpful and can help you with just about anything
