CALMAT's Mission is "Educates tomorrow's global technology leaders." Collaborating closely with San Jose State University, CALMAT and SJSU are the two comprehensive universities located at San Jose downtown. Students from both institutions enjoyed many facilities such as the Tech Museum, Martin Luther King Library, Museum of Arts, Performing Center and San Jose Convention Center.

CALMAT currently offers several MBA programs and Master programs in Computer Science and Information Technology. It also offers an degree completion program in Bachelor of General Studies which is designed to bridge 2-year or 3-year college degrees to graduate programs.
