Callaway Soccer offers programs for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 17. It encompasses all levels of play, both Developmental and Competitive.
Formerly YMCA Soccer, Callaway Soccer was formed in January of 2008. When the YMCA no longer served our area, founders Amber Musser and Brent Harshbarger formed a youth soccer league in Callaway, FL. Panama City Adult Soccer graciously agreed to allow the league to run under their non-profit. Together, a soccer program was designed that combined the values of the YMCA with the unique needs of local players. Registration fees were lowered while players received more for their money. During Spring 2008, the City of Callaway partnered with the soccer league and CALLAWAY SOCCER was born.
Since then, Callaway Soccer has grown into a powerful soccer league. Embraced by the community, the league has grown to over 400 players each season. It offers recreational soccer (Callaway Youth Soccer), an academy program (Callaway Arsenal Academy) and a competitive, travel soccer club (Callaway Arsenal). In 2013, Callaway Soccer added a Soccer Tots Program (Daytime Sessions for 3-5yr olds), a Fitness Program and began offering private training sessions for small groups and individuals. In 2014 Callaway Soccer, retired its Recreational and Academy Programs, creating CALLAWAY DEVELOPMENTAL SOCCER. This program combines the training/coaching of an Academy Program with the family environment of a recreational one.
