Beautiful Catholic cemetery so meticulously maintained. My husband and I decided to pre-plan and Lisa was phenomenal! We didn't know where to start so we made an appointment with Lisa. She gave us a tour and gave us many different options to choose from. We love the fact they do mass 14 times a year on the grounds. Lisa was very patient and helped us pick the perfect spot to accommodate our needs and within our budget too! Terry was very helpful too in many ways. Thank you both so much.
Destroyed my little faith in Catholics I had left. My best friend's grave has been left as nothing more than a unmarked, sad, wet-patch of dirt for months now. Visiting a month later after funeral and burial services - there was still pamphlets and trash from said event, wet from the rain scattered over their grave.. had to pick up myself in the time I carved out of my day to be mourning their passing. You will get stares by staff as well while visiting your loved ones, especially by male staff constantly circling around. Choose a cemetery that cares about your loved ones as who they were and not as a plot in the ground
Our family is grateful to Kevin Hoobin for helping us through difficult times. He gave us a tour of the beautiful grounds and asked us what our visions were. We asked him for his thoughts and his opinions as he helped us with the design of the Monument. He was patient and soothed our angst. We found our father’s resting site near a tree on a little hill. Kevin was always available by phone or in person. Kevin also knew our Priests and Deacon and the burial was filled with the Holy Spirit. Calvary Catholic Cemetery is maintained by the Diocese of SP and is serene and gorgeously maintained. It’s a Holy place. In Christ, The Valentine Family St John Vianney SPB
I DO NOT CARE FOR THE DISRESPECT THE LAWN CARE STAFF HAS FOR ITEMS LEFT ON MY SON AND OTHERS GRAVES!!! THIS HAS BEEN AN ON GOING PROBLEM FOR MONTHS NOW, AND I AM REALLY SICK OF IT. WE PUT OVER 200.00 WORTH OF ITEMS ON HIS GRAVE FOR EASTER AND 2 DAYS BEFORE EASTER WE WENT BACK AND EVERYTHING WAS GONE!! THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THIS DISRESPECT THAT IS SHOWN TO OUR LOST LOVED ONES AND SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT IT!!
Place looks nice from afar, but I don't like the human approach. An old man told me to follow him in the golf cart to find my friend's gravesite, and he was going so fast that it seemed he wanted to lose me. And when we got there we found out her resting space is unmarked but he didn't seem to care much. Just said that it happens a lot and it's usually women's tombs that are left unmarked, kind of weird comment in my opinion. And I understand there are rules to follow, like not letting people add plaques to the tomb, etc. but not to the letter, because that's not how Jesus lived on Earth. In other words: too cold!!! No mercy, no compassion, nothing like that. Super sad!!
Such a beautiful and peaceful cemetery. My grandma was buried here in 1971 and her gravestone still looks perfect. Again just beautiful.
My friends gravesite was grown over with grass and just neglected. It hurt to see her resting place like that. I will take care of it now since I'm back in the area but you'd think they would at least have trimmed the grass back and takes some leaves
I had the pleasure of working with Kevin. He is a true professional, kept me updated on everything and went above and beyond to make the process as easy as possible. I'm very thankful for Kevin and all of the staff.
Went back yesterday to visit the cemetery with a friend. So many of our church members are buried here. Very grateful for the patience and help by the staff. Thank you Terry Young. Thank you Nelson. This place matters.
Open for drunk and homless people at night, Catholic don't seem to know respect for the dead. Terry has 0 human skills or public skills. Hiring a security over night will not break the bank. And the staff in the office so negative and hastle. Only nice person is Margaret. Stephanie and terry never try to do the job they hire them for. And sad thing they suppose to be Catholic.
