To provide a high-quality, high-calibre program which promotes the sport of gymnastics and physical fitness while nurturing a sense of personal achievement, team spirit and enjoyment. The club will also endeavour to set the highest standards for coaching and act as a leader and model for other clubs.
Our Competitive Trampoline and Women's Gymnastics Programs
Developing team spirit in a sport geared for individuals Cambridge Kips offers an integrated competitive program for artistic and rhythmic gymnasts, beginning with our pre-competitive programs, all the way to provincial and national divisions. Athletes must be invited into our competitive program and be tested either by appointment or during our regular tryouts. Once accepted, athletes are placed in levels that are appropriate for their age and skill level, determined by our coaching staff and in consultation with families.
Our club enters several qualifiers every season, national competitions as well as invitationals. Our programs follow FIG (Federation of International Gymnastics) regulations. See Ontario Gymnastics Federation and Gymnastics Canada-Gymnastique or FIG for more information about the regulating organizations.
Cambridge Kips has developed many high-profile athletes including Olympians Yvonne Tousek (1996 and 2000) and Crystal Gilmore (2000)
