Saturday breakfast. It was around after 9am and the place was full. Service however was pretty fast although we had to call the server for coffee refills which is really not an issue. The coffee was good, the service excellent and the food already has us wanting to come back I had the French toasts with cheese and bacon. Those were excellent. I love the sweet and savory combinations so that was perfect for me. And my husband had the corn beef platter that was delicious too. Corn beef full of flavours! The only one thing that was not to our like was the home fries. Not a lot of taste and we though they might have been boiled first and the sprinkled w some spices but something was lacking. We are certainly returning and we can't wait. There are so many options and lots of bakery items too. Can't wait to try them all!
We have ordered from Cambridge Restaurant a few times and have tried a variety of items. I really like their festive dinners, they have good stuffing! The banana cream pie is also a favourite as well. Definitely recommend them for comfort food!
This place used to be the best. But the last couple times we've gotten food from there it's gone downhill. Tonight was the last time. My wife ordered 2 piece fish and chips and the pieces of fish were the size of chicken fingers. $18 for barely one full piece of fish.
By far one of the best hidden gems in Cambridge there food will blow you away and at the price point it can't be be beaten great staff good portions and heads up there eggs Benny try it you won't be disappointed Kid-friendliness: Have served my kids since newborn and have enjoyed there welcom every chance we get Parking: Parking is limited out front but rear parking is plentiful even have a convient back door entrance which makes life alot easier
We had our first opportunity to have what I would call the best darn hot chicken burger ever! It was huge, so juicy and flavourful. Thank you for making my lunch such an incredible experience, will definitely be ordering again.
Loved this place so much we came back the next day. Really impressed with the food, the cleanliness, and the friendly staff. A great vintage feel but without the grubbiness of some old restaurants - this place was clearly well-maintained and well-loved. The food was also so well-made and delicious and the portion sizes were great! We will definitely be back next time we’re in Cambridge!
Amazing local restaurant offering all the favorites. Staff are always friendly, making customers feel like they are family. Food is always great! Never had anything I didn't enjoy. There is parking available at the back of the building in a public lot. You can also enter through the back door.
The Cambridge Restaurant is an absolute gem!!!! I cannot recommend it highly enough! I had thought I wrote a review years ago and somehow missed doing so. The Cambridge Restaurant has been my husband and my favourite place to eat since we moved to Cambridge 5 years ago. The food is delicious and comforting, with many creative specials always available, and homemade food!! I am just drooling thinking about all of the meal and desert options!! The staff who work here are beyond lovely:: Thomas is one such person, and he is so kind and friendly, we love seeing him: The owners are incredible and caring people who give back to the community. Thank you for all that you do, you are so appreciated!! Emily and Josh
Excellent food! We were here for lunch and I would absolutely come back. Our waitress was incredibly kind as well. Great spot to eat!!
