I went to this school in 2011 and my shop teacher passed away in the summer of 2012. It was difficult for me to come to school during my sophomore year, but I was fortunate to meet Ms. P who was a perfect fit. She made the next three years easy for me. I am forever grateful to her.
One thing I liked about voki was that there were no circle jerks amongst the student body. No cliques. The popular kids were mostly model students. Everyone had their own group of friends to hang out with. A totally different experience compared to what your small town high school can provide. YMMV
Both my sons attended this school my eldest went straight to work as a welder making top dollar in his field my youngest is an accounting and finance major who is employed through their co-op program for the school they have taught my sons life skills as men to help navigate their journeys much more easily and more conveniently with more than just having a high school diploma .
Pretty positive school as sayings wise. Students always believe. Pretty great atmosphere. Overall, pretty good.
I went here for 4 great years. It is a very friendly place with mostly great teachers. My only grievance is trying to find a seat in the lunch room for the for day of each semester. But what school is that easy in?
A great school and outstanding after school activities. All of the teachers really do care about their students and want them to achieve there goals. I am currently In the Air Force JROTC program and I have changed so much since the start of the school year. I will without a doubt return next year.
Kids will be kids wherever they are, regardless of application process or not. The programs offered here are great, and there's great follow-through from the teachers throughout the year, until about March. Then testing hits, then summer fever, and all initiative is lost. It's a shame to see when they're so motivated in their programs until there's less time to dedicate to their projects, and it shows. Academics aren't taken lightly, at least by the teachers. The multiple buildings on campus are a little confusing at first, but you get the hang of it, and hoodies are a godsend during the winter.
This school is a great place to learn. i went here for 4 years and its much better then the local public school options. everyone is amicable, and the staff is extremely helpful. there is little to no bullying here, and it makes you prepared for college.
There is no reason I should not be able to put my hood up during lunch. Absolutely NONE. I bought the school hoodie I'm gonna use the school hoodie.
