Camel Safari offers premier camel ride and Segway tour adventures in the beautiful desert of the Great Basin, just 75 minutes from the Strip in Las Vegas. Activities include 30-minute camel rides, in-depth and hands-on educational camel encounters, bottle feeding baby camels, and Segway tours! Office hours are 8 AM - 5 PM Monday - Friday Pacific Time. Visited last weekend to partake in the Tour and Tram ride. Got to meet Norman and Jafar, as well as many, many other furry friends. Great tour, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, really beautiful desert location. Had a great time interacting with the camels, ranch dogs, porcupine, sloth, and others - including the opportunity to feed them some yummy treats! Great trip, totally worth the cost and the easy, scenic 1 hr. drive to/from Las Vegas.
The most important thing about this adventure is the people who own/run they are very kind and thoughtful very chilled atmosphere. Definitely would recommend this to everyone camel ride is good but the suprise part was the encounter with a porcupine super gentle and beautiful animal. You should definitely visit these lovely people and lovely animals
Did the VIP sunset tour with some friends. A little mix up in the beginning but it all came together shortly after. Learned so much about camels and the other animals out there. We did get hit by a huge rain storm during the tour but Guy the owner made us feel as comfortable as possible. He told us we could spend the night and that he would cook us food if we couldn’t make it out. Overall a very good tour, worth the money and experience. If you get the chance, do a sunset vip tour. The property is so beautiful when the sun sets.
Guy was an amazing travel guide to show all of his animals! He has so much experience with every animal he has and you can tell he truly loves every one of them! With our group of 4, we each had a dog to accompany us during the ride, which was absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for having us, it was definitely an experience that must be had!
Camel Safari is actually about an hour north of Vegas via I-15 near Bunkerville. So much fun and so much to do. Be sure to take the kids. They offer camel rides on several of their 35 camels. But the camel ride is only the beginning. Have you ever thought about petting a porcupine? How about feeding a sloth? Maybe a 200-pound tortous is more your speed.
The Camel Safari was a fantastic hands on experience! I have now fallen in love with sloths! We got turned around and we're a few minutes late, the owner was very patient even called to check on us. Very much appreciated. You can tell the animals are really cared for. It was so fun learning a bunch of new information about all the animals. It's a great way to spend a few hours. Worth visiting again!
Brought my mother to see the zoo we live just North of Seattle. We had a great time. This is our second time visiting the zoo. Allie is very knowledgeable and my mother really enjoyed herself. We had so much fun feeding the camels, alpacas and even a porcupine! The guide was super knowledgeable and was great with the kids. She made sure to encourage photo ops and interaction with the animals. She took her time and we didn't feel rushed at all. A beautiful day for being outside and getting up close and personal with some delightful animals…camels, a zdonkey, alpaca, llama, porcupine, New Guinea singing dogs, horses, Ambien, the sloth, and the sweetest pups you could ever find. We got to pet and feed many of these….you haven’t lived until a porcupine crawls up you and looks you in the eye while it gently takes the grapes you feed it! My happy place!! The animals are well cared for.
