One of our favorite dog parks! : We’ve been to slidell twice now for work and both times we’ve spent a lot of time playing at this park. The location is great, it’s quiet and there is pretty scenery around. We went mostly earlier in the day so there weren’t too many dogs there. The fenced in area is huge! They have two sides too, one for small dogs and one for bigger dogs. My dog has never tried any agility courses before but here she jumped right on them and had so much fun! There is a kitty pool next to the water fountain so it’s okay if you forget to bring water! My heart sank on the way out when I saw the dog memorial that is so thoughtful, I’ve never seen one before at a dog park!
Love it here. There are two parts to this park, one for little guys and one for bigger dogs. Our little one went in with the big dogs and there were no problems. They have two pools, 3 watering stations with bowls that can be moved at will and drinking fountain for us. There are plenty of agility objects for them. Benches and tables for us. Shady and sunny spots, grass and sand areas. Plenty of baggy/trash stations. this is the nicest doggie park I've been to. If you felt my review and pictures were helpful to you, please don't forget to click the thumbs up icon. Thank you!
My dogs had such a blast here. There's a small "kiddie" pool for them to play in when it's hot and water to fill up the many bowls around the park. We will definitely be going back
My two pups come out here twice this week. Great for socializing your pups. Lots of other doggy parents and even a side park for smaller dogs. They do provide water, doggy bags for stool, and lots of toys. Dog-friendliness: All the parents and pups so far have been amazing nice and treat everyone pups with kindness and respect.
So many nice people. The pups are well behaved and the park is well maintained.
Great dog park for the big dogs! Variety of things to do... Small dog park on the other hand... zero for the dogs to do. Small dogs like to have fun to. Wish they would have at least split the equipment evenly. I don't even see any big dogs using the equipment. Really sad to see that. In Florida we loved going to the dog park. The photo with two dogs is the park in Florida the photo of the one is the Slidell Big dog part side on the day it opened. We don't usually go in there because there is to much going on. I hope this changes soon... Maybe they can try to get some more donations or even volunteers to build a few things for the other side?
Open dawn to dusk. Our dogs love it hear and the people are great too!
Really nice dog park. There are seperate fenced areas for large dogs and small dogs. We take our puppy on both sides. Nice shade trees, chairs and benches. Great place to see old friends and meet new ones.
Clean. Plenty of parking. Activities for big dogs, wish there was activities for small dogs. Plenty of seating and friendly atmosphere for people and pups.
Very cool dog park. Completely fenced all around. There are also a few stations where you can give your dog a nice proper bath. I was near the dog park watching my daughter play soccer but couldn't help watching all the dogs running around having fun. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and the park wasn't too crowded. Just the right number of 4 legged friends.
