These folks had a piece of land and wanted to build an RV Park. The land had rolling hills, so they went with it. The result is the coolest Park you'll ever see. It feels as if your site is in the woods instead of being stacked on top of the neighbors. The laundry is clean and reasonably priced. The showers and bathrooms are closed due to COVID-19, so that's the only strike against them. I would stay here again.
Very nice and well maintained campground!! Staff was friendly and helped guiding RV into spot. Many cable channels to choose from. If we are ever in the area, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for accommodating us on such a short notice and being veteran friendly!!Service: 5/5
Super friendly, we arrived after 7pm they escorted us to our spot and even offered if ordered food delivery that rather then drive get lost in park to have them delivery to office they would bring it to us. Great service , clean safe place easy to pull in with 35ft class A and flat towing jeep. Was for full hookups 50amp $40 / night ! :
WARNING 1.This is NOT a pet friendly camp. 2.Can confirm owners are nutty. 3.Many unusual rules for a camp. 4. be aware, the owner lives in a house in the center of the park with a large window overlooking everyone. 5. Based on other reviews and my own experience I would look elsewhere.
Great overnight experience for us! Easy access! Door bell directly to camp host for after hours arrival. 24 hr nice cheap laundry $3 per load, shower house closed in winter, very nice people, close walmart, dollar general and diesel. $40 a night $400 per month.
Excellent place! Really cool spots in the woods if you want, or out in the open if you want! WiFi, cable, peace and quiet! We were only here a few days but the folks next to us came in for a few weeks and decided to stay for 4 months!
One night stay. Hugh pull through sight for 41’ with tow vehicle. Camp host lead us to our sight. Top shelf hosts & very neat and orderly. We will gladly return. $40. 20JAN23
First, the good: check in was easy, and we were escorted to our campsite. The landscaping is beautiful; all of the trees in the campground provide remarkably great shade and a very pleasant camping experience. Now, the bad: with the exception of the lady working in the office, these people , in my opinion, are not nice people at all. One of the caretakers actually came up to me and demanded that I move a tree stump back to where he said it was supposed to go. Also, the shower house and public restrooms were closed to the public because they claimed that they would always close them after there were freezing temperatures outside. While we were there, it was 70°! Don't they have an on /off water valve!? Also, there were no fire pits or a trash can at the campsite; just one large bin, which we were INSTRUCTED; not asked, to use. The general attitude of these people is something I really don't want to deal with again.
The campground host very nice and helpful helped us setup in the dark with his flashlight to see the connections. Nice rv park right off of 60. They have a laundromat clean and affordable.
Camelot RV Campground was a beautiful property. We only stayed one night but found the pull through and back in spaces are generous in size and level, the utilities easy to access and the grounds well maintained. The owner/manager escorted us to our site with a golf cart and checking was speedy. Note you will need cash/check/cashiers Check as they don’t take credit cards. They have picnic tables at each site that are nice and clean plus a picnic shelter with a lot of seating for large groups. I believe they have areas several long term and permanent residents which is likely why they have rules regarding approved dog areas. The drives are well maintained and nice for going for a walk. They also are located next to a cute antique store, but we aware not there when it was open.
