Cameo dentistry

I have had my dental work done here since June 2017. Personally, I prefer the Bloomingdale location in Stratford Mall because it is bigger, newer, and a lot more modern. I usually see Dr. Ho who is absolutely wonderful. This man is extremely kind, gentle and patient. His peaceful & patient demeanor helps calm me down even when I didn't think I was uptight in the first place! Their prices are extremely reasonable esp. if you do not have dental insurance coverage.

This office will charge for services that wasn't performed. My wife went for a cleaning and was charged for the x-ray and exam that wasn't done. Dental insurance company and I called the office to get our refund. They didn't apologize or explain why the extra charges. The office wasn't surprise at all when we called. Must be something they do on a regular basis until someone caught them.

I am Dr.Ho' patient for about 10 years. 4 years ago I moved 40 miles away but couldn't find any other dentist that matches Dr.Ho' professionalism, honesty, excellent bed side manners. I am a nurse at a large hospital, so able to appreciate the highest level of medical equipment, staff very well trained, cleanliness/sterility, and overall smooth patient traffic and efficiency. Also the prices are very reasonable. Even my dental plan is not accepted at Cameo Dentistry and I live far - I still coming to see my favorite doctor . Yesterday we finished working on the dental implant and i love the wat it looks and feels. Excellent work, Doctor Ho! Thank you very much!

I've had decent experiences with Dr. Ho and Dr. Tran, both very professional and kind. Dr. Tran helped me plan two longer appointments in the same weekend so that I wouldn't have to drive to the area twice I live 5 hours drive away. However, when I came in, a different dentist I wasn't familiar with white male with blond hair did my filling, and when I explained that the plan was to get two fillings done today and three done in the other appointment, he said it wasn't possible because each of my appointments was booked half an hour shorter than I was told when I made them. I'm not sure who's responsible for the miscommunication, but after waiting 20 minutes in the waiting room, and 15 minutes in the chair for the dentist to come in, I was not happy to be told that I could only get 1 filling done today and 3 fillings out of the 5 over the two appointments. Not only that, I found this dentist to be extremely dismissive and rude - maybe he was under the impression that I looked youngeras most asians do and didn't deserve the time of day or the courtesy of a smile/goodbye. Asked me if it felt okay, and just got up and left pretty much before I could open my mouth to say yes. I might be wrong on this, but the amount of time it took for him to give me the numbing shot was more than I had expected, so I suspect he might have also numbed me too much. The side of my nose was numb for hours and I am just regaining feeling there - 5 hours later. My lip will probably be numb for another few hours. Not fun. Many thanks to the kind assistant who tried to help me out and Dr. Tran who tried to accommodate for my long drive but with that dentist, my fillings were not getting done. I cancelled my second appointment and will be looking to move somewhere else closer that accepts my insurance.

Great team, dentists, and staff. Happy to have them for my dental care.
