1st time in the San Francisco area, the family was jet-lagged. Snuck away to go eat breakfast while letting my family sleep. Look this place up, just around the corner from where we're staying. Quiet, peaceful spot. Everyone was minding their own business, the talkative people sat outside eating their breakfast under this canopy with tables. The Camino breakfast omelette was off the chain!! I should have asked how big it was, since this is California and I'm from Texas. Everything is bigger in Texas so I ordered a waffle with bananas just in case the omelette was too small. Now I'm stuffed, I could only eat a 1/4 of the waffle, that omelette was huge, stuffed with the description it says. I definitely recommend the breakfast here, the parking well let's just say to get there early.
I’m always on the hunt for a great breakfast spot while traveling and Camino Corner did not disappoint! The space is clean and welcoming. I really liked the dividers between tables inside. Our server was very pleasant and the service was quick. All of the food we ordered was delicious. My only suggestion would be some seasoning on the hash browns, but other than that, we were all thrilled with our food. Highly recommend this small diner!
Standard diner menu with an Asian flair or maybe it's specifically Filipino. So if you want pancakes and white rice or bacon and pork belly, this is the place for you. Parking is a thing and getting and out of the parking lot is also a thing, but again, if you want diner + a bowl of white rice looking at you parents with finicky eaters, make a beeline to this place. Hash browns were solid, omelette topped with slices of American were ok, coffee was meh or below, and service was friendly and great. But again, they had white rice so everyone got something they liked.
Good pancake! Prices could be slightly cheaper and the service could also be improved, but overall would recommend.
We absolutely loved the food here. I really like having breakfast at noon. This place did not disappoint us on any of our food. The staff is friendly and service is fast. I had a waffle with bacon and scrambled eggs and my wife had pancakes with bacon and dippy eggs. Unfortunately we're traveling and won't be able to stop here again. Somehow we're ever in this area again it will be a no brainer to return.
I loved the fact the they have natural orange juice fresh squeezed, the coffee is not great but the food was amazing, I definitely will try some other options next time.Food: 5/5
I have been dining here since the pre-pandemic and will continue to support this local business. Always enjoy eating breakfast outside during summerbenches with canopies. Good food, atmosphere, and customer service . Try it.Food: 4/5
We were looking for a quick brunch place that didn't have a long line. There's also a tiny lot in front for some parking. This place was pretty crowded, but luckily a table was leaving as we got there. It started to get super crowded while we there. The menu was simple, with lots of the basic brunch options, which was perf for us. We ordered the California benedict, waffle egg and sausage combo, and Louisiana omelette. The waffle isn't like the normal fluffy one so my friend was a bit disappointed, but we thought it still tasted good. The benedicts were cooked perfect, nice and runny. The omelette looked a bit small, but was still really good. It came with a bunch of delicious diced potatoes too. This place is great for a quick and convenient breakfast/lunch. I would love to try their other specials. This place can get crowded, but it seems they work through quickly.
Typical greasy-spoon, Americana diner fare, but also plenty of menu items for more varied palates -- shrimp with green onions, options with garlic rice, etc. The staff are ridiculously attentive AND accommodating, spun up the heat lamps and served us on patio seating despite the rain, etc. I will bring fam back here when we need something-for-everyone and still want to buy local. They DID include an 18% gratuity by default on our order, with options to add higher, but if you are trying to avoid tipping by default in one of the most expensive markets in the planet, you're already avoiding local dine-in. I'm glad this place is taking precautions for their humans.
El Camino Corner, I'm sure a regular at this place will rave about how great it is. And for the most part it is a nice friendly warm establishment. You have a big open kitchen, where you can see the cooks preparing all the orders, nice big TV's for the TV lovers and a friendly hostess/waitress greeting you as you walk in. They also have nice big windows with a view of El Camino. However the food was mediocre, I ordered the Chorizo scramble with garlic rice and a side order of hot links. This dish also came with a side order of toast. The Chorizo scramble was very boring even with the mushrooms and spinach added on to it, It was very bland. As for the garlic rice, I know garlic rice is supposed to taste like garlic but my goodness they went super heavy handed with the garlic and it had a microwave feel to it. The Buttermilk pancake was ok it was not a fluffy as I like it, they also sprinkle it with powdered sugar. Staff is friendly and there is a very small parking lot that is shared with a Dry cleaners but there is plenty parking on the street. Just be careful for street cleaning price is average and if you do check in with YELP you get a free pancake.
