This place is so fun, we can't wait to come back next year!!
Great camp for cubscouts, maybe Daniel Webster should give up on the Basecamp idea
We had so much fun. Camp was clean and beautiful. Wish it wasnt just for scouts
Always a great time with Scouts, Leaders, and Camp Staff at Camp Carpenter. Ranger Steve and his grounds crew do a great job maintaining the grounds and ammenities.
Best camp ever! Scouting at it's finest! Great staff and fun times!
Granite Base Camp is a perfect way to spend a family Saturday in the winter
My son and I have been there four years in a row for Session 6 Resident Camp. Mark Hamel, Kristen, Brett and the rest of the staff are PHENOMENAL! It is hard to believe that it could get any better and I have seen so many happy tired faces at the end of our days there! As a Scout Leader I can never promote this experience enough!!!
Fantastic camp for kids!
Probably one of the best museums in the country for scouting history. Staffed by volunteers who live and teach scouting. It has been my privilege to know and work with so.e of the leaders. Having gone thru scouting I was surprised how much of the origins I didn't know. Area located at Camp Carpenter is a great teaching facility for all ages. If you have someone in scouting do yourself a favor and go experience it.
This is a great experience to get your child use to being away from the parents and learning life skills while having fun. activities range from water sports water slid, bb guns and archery along with some crafts and nature learning great for first grade through 4th. And the food is not bad also!!
