Camp Nelson Civil War Heritage Park is a 525-acre park and historical museum located in southern Jessamine County, Kentucky, 20 miles south of Lexington.
Park open Tuesday - Saturday 9 am - 5 pm
White House Tours
Tuesday - Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm.
No admission fee.
Interpretive trials open nearly every day dawn to dusk. View trail map. There are over five miles of trails to explore at Camp Nelson. The trails and interpretive markers are an oportunity to view the beautiful central Kentucky lanndscape while learning about the significant role Camp Nelson played in the the Civil War.
