Camp for deaf/hard of hearing campers in western United States during summer months and open to groups for retreats, weddings, festivals and other events.

Description

The mission of Camp Taloali is to provide a camping experience for youth in the Pacific Northwest and Western United States during summer season. We provide educational workshops during the year online with occasional visit to the camp. We also provide opportunities for groups to rent our property for their retreats, weddings, and other events.

Had an amazing time playing this course. Kids had a blast. I actually got really close to beating my fiancé definitely recommended.
Youth Leadership Camp! I visited there for the first time and I was impressed with this camp.
Hit my first ace on hole 17!! Quality course!! Well worth the price of admission.
I mostly know about the disc golf course, and it's very good. Nice tees, good baskets, well marked, thoughtfully laid out, fun, scenic, and challenging. The rough is tricky, with large ferns, so use a spotter, or even better: stay on the fairway! It's private, with a greens fee, so donate, obey the rules, and pack out your trash!
Nice, event size kitchen, cabins and tent sites... And the river has sectioned off safe area for kids...
Love this camp! Yes I'm biased because I worked here and had my wedding here but it really is awesome! 111 acres, has a beautiful and challenging 18 hole disc golf course, close to the river, has an enclosed swimming pool, horse shoe pitch area, archery range and the rental rates are very fair. Also home to the annual Haunted Forest last weekend if September annually! My first experience here was summer camp for deaf and hard if hearing kids, I feel in love with the place. If you're looking to have a wedding venue or a place for retreats, family reunions, check them out!
Amazing Camp for the Deaf! I used to go to Camp Taloali as a camper and worked there as a counselor for a few. It’s such a great place for deaf kids and their siblings and CODAs to attend! It’s at a beautiful location by the Santiam River and can be rented during other times of the year. They also are home to YLC, Youth Leadership Camp. Also, WDT World Deaf Timberfest is hosted here as well. And not to mention but their disc golf course is amazing as well! Definitely a great place for the community.
