Only nine sites. Most are very unlevel. Gray water pipes are 2 to 3 ft High so you cannot hook up a camper. Located in a very heavily wooded area but there is also a cell tower at the end of the loop so you get great reception. Dan the park ranger was very nice.
Wow. I can't believe I lived like 20 minutes from here much of my life and had never been. What a gem in this area! Wear good shoes and bring a walking stick. There are some really steep hills.
Beautiful place filled with such amazing history. We went with the cubscout pack stayed in the oldest cabin in the oldest boy scout camp in Ohio. The true rustic cabin was filled with character. Amazing experience tho we went in cold weather and the fire didn't keeps warm so pack for it colder than you would expect to stay in for winter months but it was still cool and would go back. The Maple days were filled with fun facts and it was so interesting to see how maple syrup is made right from the trees on the campground. Absolutely delicious too the pancake breakfast with eggs & sausages was fantastic Toped with the camp made maple syrup.
I great place for challenging hiking and lots of things to see.
I spent a night here in dry gulch and I loved it only thing I would have liked was a picnic table but it’s a beautiful spot thanks both people I talked to were great
Great camp. Great experience. So many trails. So many memories
Hiked here for the first time last weekend. Lots of challenging hilly trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. There are some great scenic overlooks and nice scenery throughout the trails.
Hiking and mountain bike trails if you need time to get away from the hustle and bustle of traffic and you want peace and quiet, this is the place to go
My favorite hiking place. All hills!
