I am a former camper and counselor who spent 13 summers at camp, and no other place has had a greater influence on my life. This camp creates an amazing opportunity for boys to grow and mature while developing lifelong skills and friendships. I owe a lot of who I am today to Camp Wachusett and cannot recommend it enough. Few other places allow boys to enjoy everything the great outdoors has to offer while simultaneously teaching them about camaraderie and friendly competitive spirit.

No place could have taught me the same lessons about responsibility, independence and integrity more effectively than Wachusett did. In a world where more and more of children’s lives are spent on the internet and social media, the value of a summer at Wachusett is greater than ever before. It is an oasis where campers can disconnect from their hectic lives, enjoy living close to nature in one of the most beautiful places in the country, and learn to live harmoniously with other people while enjoying numerous recreational activities they otherwise might never have the chance to partake in. I know that when I have kids the easiest decision I’ll have to make is to send them to Camp Wachusett.
