We came here as a halfway point back home from a long roadtrip and although the site is spectacular we felt it was a little expensive at 57$ for a campsite for a tent but we were out of options so we bit the bullet. After setting up I went to see the cashier to ask why it was so expensive and she replied that the site had access to water and electricity. I told her i needed none of those since we just have a tent. She replied that sites without services are on the other side and asked if i wanted to change. I told her that we were already setup and couldn't change now. She apologize but said she could not refund me the difference unless we moved. She admitted that she could have mentionned that to me... Also note if you do come here you will be very close to your neighbors and there is no vegetation to separate the sites so ultimately not much privacy. Also, you need to pay 1$ for 5 minutes of shower. Consider that if you are coming as a family. But again, very pretty site.
very nice clean campground, however #1 $3.95 booking fee for I don't know why… #2 illegal power outlet installed the wrong way around that didn't work - we had to plug in on the other lot. #3 shower fee $1 for 5 minutes. #4 $5 per day internet charge per device impossible to share with family… and no cell service. I saw there was a fee for the trail - but not sure if they would give us $$$.
Nice campsite in general Very quiet, no activity Lots of trees semi-shaded land, negative point: too stuck. There is a nice path to walk. Lots of dog River accessible for pitou, but very rocky! Personally, this is not the kind of campsite where I would go with children, but to relax it is a great place.
Superb campsite very well maintained. On the other hand, the magic is spoiled quite quickly when you come into contact with the owners... We were greeted by a directive man, almost arrogant. He addressed us with contempt several times over the weekend. Campsite that seems to be looking for a select clientele aged 60 and over. Small families more or less welcome. It's a pity that such a beautiful campsite offers such deplorable customer service...
I'll start with the positive. Very nice well maintained grounds. Now the negative: we arrived with a couple of friends. They no longer had the reservation in their system, despite the two confirmations I had in my emails for two side-by-side courts. They never wanted to honor these two contracts. They placed the couple of friends still not far from us and gave them a free night, telling them that it was the first time it had happened. They had to change places for the last night. Two days later we had two other couples of friends arriving. The same, they only had the reservation for one of the two couples. Again, they did not want to honor the contracts they had too. They also told them that it was the first time that it happened without knowing that we knew them. There was a nice day in the week for swimming and the pool was closed. Very frustrating! I won't be going back to this place again. THANKS!
Camping misses too much. Better drive on! The campsite is beautifully situated in a leafy environment. Nice big pitches, clean and lots of shade. And yet you better avoid this place. There are only 2 toilets, 2 showers, 1 gray water dump, 1 clumsy place to empty your toilet. And all that in 173 places! Bell phone is out of range here. WiFi is available for purchase, but the code can only be used on one device. No camp store, no restaurant, no shuttle to Quebec and unhelpful reception staff. It's a real shame that it's all just not right. Hopefully these omissions will be corrected.
Good morning, We have just returned from a 4 night stay with you. Here are our comments that can help you make the stay of other travelers more pleasant. First of all I must say that you have a more than marvelous site with all its flowers and trees which are magnificent. On the other hand there are small things that we find very disappointing, we arrived Monday and left today Friday. Tuesday we arrived for this swim and oops swimming pool closed. We were told that the pool was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Why not mention it to people when we arrive at least things would be clear. After discussions with a few travelers we were not the only ones to be disappointed. After discussion with you on Wednesday you tell us that the lifeguard will be there on Thursday. So once again nice surprise the pool is closed for the day. In the evening I spoke to the person who sold the wood and mentioned our lifeguard is not reliable. This morning I follow to go see the rescuer to ask him his schedule then what he told me. Sir my schedule is from Friday to Monday. So who is not telling the real deal who is telling the truth I think that as customers we should be told the real things when we arrive. When we know it, we live with it and have no surprises, especially since the temperature was swimming. My second point: I'm calling you because the braker for my site has jumped, you came quickly wonderful but you came to see my plug and you noticed that I had electrical tape. Your reaction is still amateur DIY and you made the following remark, I don't want to come back and in addition you told me to pick up your nails otherwise its $40.00 almond its marked or in your regulations
Very nice place, beautiful well maintained ground, however we had the ground 97 and far from being safe with children! I strongly advise against. The owners should perhaps see to it before an accident happens... The lady at the reception had no way. Very stupid ! $9.20 PER device for wifi is unreasonable in my opinion, especially since there is NO signal.. I find that to abuse the situation.. We went there on the weekend of St-Jean and there was really no activity unfortunately All in all we had a great weekend since we went there accompanied with friends but I will not go back for all these reasons
Read your contract carefully, because you could have little surprises. For example, it is forbidden to hang a hammock on the trees as well as a clothesline. In addition, you could have a charge of $40 taken from your credit card without being notified for various reasons. For our part, it was because we had left nails in the campfire.
