yes beautiful beach, clean sanitary facilities, quiet during the week, section of beach for dogs bravo!, free shower but.... our land was too small and not even level risk of twisting your ankle for the price, not even able to fit our dinette tent above the camping table. Don't book pitch 62 and up, really small. Our friends were at 174, it was better but the other side of the street in front of the lake really too close to each other. And the train that wakes us up in the middle of the night…. We won't go back and wouldn't recommend it either Camping Blanchet is better. I discussed my land with the owner. He seemed more interested in telling me what he did elsewhere in the campsite than in seeing me satisfied with my stay and my land. No offer of partial refund or other...
Pros: Very clean, free showers, beautiful beach and sunset, bike path right next to the campsite, very friendly owner, dogs allowed Cons: Very small and tight land, there isn't really any activity if that's what you're looking for, camping more for families or seniors Not a lot to do for anyone in their twenties like us and you get strongly woken up at night by the train stuck to the entrance of the campsite, playground/entertainment area to refresh : Overall, nice experience. :
Beautiful beach, wonderful service, some would say that the wi-fi is missing, we are happy. Tight roped grounds, difficult to access with a large trailer. The park could be improved, it's still a charming place!
Only good things to say about the family and friendly campsite of the villa des sables! Mélanie the owner is welcoming and adorable! We really enjoyed our stay and the magnificent view of Lac St Jean! Thank you thank you thank you for everything : Dog accepted when renting land, free shower included in the price and paid laundry at a reasonable price on site! I recommend to everyone
Very nice campsite, super beautiful sandy beach, mountain bike trail nearby, restaurant on site, bike path nearby, pocket games and pétanque too!
The site is very beautiful on the edge of the lake with a magnificent beach. The sites with 2 services and less at the end of the field are interesting with beautiful trees. But the good things stop there. Minimal maintenance throughout. No grass, so the sites are on sand and have grass everywhere. Path full of holes especially at the dump station where you have your feet in the water if it has been raining. Toilets not maintained with cobwebs and other bugs everywhere and dirty showers. And to top it off, the train that passes right by and whistles at 5 am.
Campsite on the banks of the Saint-Jean. Small sites.
Very nice clean campsite. The beach is beautiful and nius were camped in a 2 services near the beach for 3 nights. Direct access to the beach from the land. Only downside, the train whistling in the night..
The beach is superb, However, it is a campsite that is really more suitable for motorhomes than tents. The price is relatively high
