I went to rent a book from them that they didn't have. They told me they could order it and would inform me of when it came in. Since payment for books are due tomorrow I called to make sure I wasn't going to be charged for a book I never received. They told me there was nothing they could do about it, and that even though they still have the book in their possession and did not make more than one attempt to reach me I was still going to have to pay for it. I have used them for my entire time college have given them so much and referrals. Yet they were completely unwilling to work with me at all and were very rude. I will not be using them again and advise people to take their money elsewhere.
Bought rental online through NWACC website and have online receipt for $10.95. Picked up book at store across the street from NWACC and was charged $52.56. Buyer beware! I never received any communication during the process of the order nor when they emailed me that the book was available for pickup that they substituted the used book for a new and the new updated price. Had I known it was going to be a 400% increase in price, I would have canceled the order and bought elsewhere. If I return the book prior to rental due date, it's a 20% penalty. Also learned last week in classes that other students have experienced the same situation of book substitutions without Campus Bookstore indicating the new increased price at checkout or during book pickup. Poor business ethics and deceptive business practices taking advantage of students here in Bentonville.
Campus Bookstore is one of the best places to go and get your textbooks rentals or new. They are very flexible with paying off books if you use book credit. If you find yourself in a situation where you need an extension. Explain to the staff what is going on and they will try their best to work with you. Best book place in NWA.
Accidentally went in to the wrong bookstore was supposed to go to the one inside NWACC, but I was helped and then a nice guy asked me what books I got from NwACC and he looked it up and told me that those same books were cheaper with the campus bookstore. He wrote my name down, reserved those books and I went across the street and got a refund and then came back and bought those books from the same guy. The entire staff was super friendly and had great advice and made my semester start off right!
The most "TERRIBLE" buying experience ever. They do not want to wait on you as the customer in person at the store. They might or might not have what you need. I have called their phone number several times with "NEVER!" a RESPONSE!!!! Campus Bookstore is the MOst expensive of all the places that sell the books you need. It's a disrespectful bunch and that want to greedily rip you off from your hard earned money and anything else they might be allowed by the College and Government allow them to cheat you out of. Aside from being a part of the University or College Book racket and dirty dealings to displace money from those who need, this is the WORST store to ever be in existence in modern times!!!!!!! As many of my fellow students have said "IT SUCKS!" I agree with them.
Coty was the best, he always made sure to have the customer first. He is definitely way cheaper than they BN bookstore on campus and beat the bookstore down the street. He also does price matching! been going their since they opened and before the semester starts, it gets a little hectic so its always best to go into the store instead of calling. Best place ever!
Ordered a used book on my screen showed I got a used Next day the bank said I got a new because they were out of used. They did not say that I would get a new if they were out of used. What if I didn't have the money for the new in my account.
They were able to save me the last copy of my textbook until I could get there later that day. I saved $62 by renting a used textbook from them compared to renting a new textbook from the bookstore on campus.
They are a lot cheaper than N.W.A.C.C.'s bookstore. They are more willing to work with you. They may not have very single book you need, but they can get it. They have always been real nice to my wife and I.
This is my favorite bookstore by far, just wish I'd known about it earlier on in my time at NWACC. I've used these guys for the past two semesters and have always had a good experience with customer service, book availability and pricing.
