This campsite is set up for the transient camper. The lots are small and close to one another. They have concrete pad and require little, if any adjustments to make your rig level. Full hookups are provided. The bathrooms and showers are clean and well maintained. The showers are big and have a lot of room to move around. This site is located near a lot great points of interest making it easy to walk to.
Gave it 4 stars but I have no complaints. Def. a high 4-star. Didn’t utilize bathrooms or laundry so I left that open for a star plus a 5 star has larger lots and amenities. Very nice site for our 40 ft. We’ve stayed here several times when visiting family. Quiet, clean, accommodating, EXCELLENT Hi-speed WiFi ..very nice owners.
We stayed at the park for an extended timeframe while working in the area. The park served our needs well. There are few amenities here, but it is in close proximity to area attractions. This is more of a place to stay while you go out and see the sites versus a destination itself. No long term rates, but the electricity isn't metered so there's a trade-off. The caretakers are available, but not intrusive. It was well kept, clean bathrooms and showers, and most sites are paved.
2nd visit and we will be back. It's in the heart of downtown Independence, Mo. Walking distance from a lot of cool places. The place is very clean and well managed. There are not a ton of amenities but the ones they have are nice. It's not really a "camping" spot but it's a great place to stay if you need one. We do Santacaligon event every year and it is perfect for us.
Great place clean bathrooms and showers was very happy the 2 weeks I stayed there was mostly quiet for most part except a couple times the kids a couple rv down from me but there kids what can you do lol but all in all you won't regret staying hereRooms: 5/5
We chose campus RV Park due to the proximity to arrowhead Stadium and the concert we were attending their. The park did serve its purpose and the full hookup site was acceptable. However the sites are very small and really more of a stopover type site. No fire rings available if you want to sit outside in the evening around a campfire. Very close proximity to the next camper so you don't really feel like spending any time outside. But if you just going to sleep there and tour Kansas City or go for an event, it would be fine. It's in fairly close proximity to some nice bars and restaurants that we enjoyed. With the small sites I can't give it more than three stars. Shower rooms were decent.
We stayed here June 3-6, 2022. Great location for the LDS history we were there to experience. Good price, easy check in and check out online. We had full hookups and never used the facilities they offer, so I can’t review those. The park is very clean and well maintained. There was a large grassy area next to the park maybe considered part of the rv park? to play and/or walk dogs. Pretty area. We would stay there again. Note: there are railroad tracks just across the street and we happened to be on the end of the park next to the tracks. If you have a light sleeper, keep that in mind when you reserve your spot. It may be quieter on the other end of the park.
We chose this park due to its proximity to Arrowhead Stadium. It is about 15 mins away. That part was great. It is a strange setup in a bad part of town. I was solicited to buy what I assume was stolen RV parts form a lady driving around the sites. It's not a good area. It was fine for us because we wouldn't be there other than to park and sleep for the night. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it and won't return.
We had a nice stay at Campus RV Park. The proximity to things to see was great Truman, KC sites, Royals baseball, etc The camp host was very nice and helpful. Laundry facility was good. Power was good. The sites were a little close together, but tolerable. Getting there was tricky with low bridges and low hanging trees. Plan you route carefully! Overall we would definitely stay there again.
Campus RV has been our 2nd home in the KCMO area. In family times of need we have been able to count on CRV to accommodate us. They have been a blessing to our family these pat 7+ years.Service: 5/5
