The "Professional Floral Design Program" prepares you for a career in the floral industry. Many graduates have opened retail stores and wholesale floral outlets. The Program:
The Canadian Institute of Floral Design was established in 1988 as a Private Career College by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. Our program places a strong emphasis on creating both beautiful and profitable floral designs. In fact, our ability to generate profit easily distinguishes our program from others – as does the extensive education and hands-on experience that you gain.
Our faculty is also a source of great pride and strength. Each member has
operated a successful retail flower shop or worked with major floral wholesalers. This, in turn, allows us to provide you with proven techniques to prosper in the floral industry. And while the school does not guarantee employment, we do keep an up-todate file on employers interested in our graduates.
Graduation Day:
Every student in our program looks forward to graduation day. After all, the class gets to work as a design team to construct a complete wedding package. Plus the graduating students are awarded a diploma recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
