Great location and food was excellent. Plenty of parking. Place was very busy. We made reservations a week ahead of time. The chef was phenomenal and fun. I had the scallops hibachi. My husband had the shrimp and chicken. Everything was delicious.Food: 5/5
Delicious all around. No wait on a weekend night is unbelievable. Common appetizers Gyoza, Miso soup, and Ginger salad were all better than average. Sushi was phenomenal. Learn how to use chopsticks and order all of it. No liquor.
Sakura is our favorite restaurant! My husband goes bi-weekly on his day off. The quality food and service is exceptional. We highly recommend this dining experience!
The food is great, the service is excellent. I never get disappointed when I come here. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Canandaigua. You can come with your significant other, friends or family any occasion.
I hadn't been there for awhile. I ordered the hibachi scallop and shrimp. I got 2 scallops, 6 shrimp. Little rice and few vegetables. Much smaller portions. No dipping sauces. I had to ask and received one not the usual 3 different ones. What I did have was good.
If I could give 10 stars it still wouldn't be enough! We made reservations for Hibachi on Christmas night. Since it was only 2 of us, we knew we'd be seated with others. What we didn't know was that part of that group wouldn't be arriving for another 25 minutes. Once the staff learned of this, they moved my husband and I to a different table so we didn't have to wait. The staff saw the problem which was not their fault at all! and immediately took action to solve it. Add to that incredible service the Hibachi Chef who was amazing skillful and very entertaining and the food which was delicious perfectly cooked and flavorful. This was our first visit but we will absolutely be visiting Sakura more often!

The quality and amount of food for the price was unbelievably good! My group got two of the dinner boxes salmon and beef teriyaki and a chicken katsu meal and everything was really tasty! Very pleasant staff, attentive, but not overbearing.
My wife and I dined here tonight 10/29/22 our service was fast , attentive , and very courteous . I ordered Steak teriyaki , and my wife ordered Chicken teriyaki. Both meals were great. We highly recommend
Overall the experience was not bad. They seated us quite fast but then took a while to grab our order after getting us the drinks. The food did make up for it though. I love the Godzilla Roll that they had. Never had duck here but would definitely order it again. My girlfriend got an assortment of rolls and they all were great as well. In the past when we came we did try the hibachi side and we all enjoyed that.
