They got me in quickly and repaired my broken tooth the next day. The staff are all very kind. Dr. Josh was more concerned about my anxiety and comfort then I, he really cares about comfort. While going to the dentist isn't always the most fun experience they did the best to make me feel good about going. He carefully made up an anesthetic plan tailored to me, I felt no pain whatsoever!
This is the first time I’ve seen a dentist since before the pandemic and I was nervous at first about how my teeth would be but all the staff were super friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the doctor and hygienist walking me through each and every step. So happy to find a new dentist I can trust. :
I was very happy with my visit to Canby Smiles today. I needed an urgent appointment and hadn’t ever been seen there before, and they were able to get me seen and scheduled to fix my issue while confirming my issue was not an emergency which is what I had feared. Dr. Wieland was very friendly though still very professional and knowledgeable. I have complete confidence in his ability to treat me even though I have significant dental anxiety. The staff I interacted with, including my hygienist my apologies I have not stored her name, were all very friendly. They do not have a payment plan outside of offering 6 months same as cash through Care Credit, but I won’t hold that against them. And, very importantly to me, they are following COVID protocols seriously which I super appreciate and felt reassured by.
I am someone who has major anxiety when it comes to the dentist. This clinic did an outstanding job of making me feel so much better about the procedure that needs to be done. Offers great recommendations for people with anxiety. Would highly recommend this dentist if you have anxiety like me.
Love my dentist and hygienists! They are all very nice, gentle and care about you and your teeth. If you’re not a fan of the dentist this is the place to try out. You’ll be happy you did.
The team at Canby Smiles is top notch! When my daughter was seen for some fillings today, they were attentive to her needs. Checking in with her throughout the procedure. Listening to my questions and concerns as well as offering us options! I’m so glad we moved our kiddos to Canby Smiles :

I will never be able to say enough good things about these guys! I have embarrassingly SEVERE dental anxiety, and these guys go above and beyond to help me through even a simple cleaning. Dr. Wieland is amazing, he sooths my concerns, and is truly empathetic to my ridiculous dental anxiety. Robyn in the office has been a godsend helping me through my treatment plan which consists of MANY of items, she has been thorough and extremely patient with me in helping decide which route would be best especially in utilizing my dental insurance. Because my husband is overly cautious he wanted me to get a 2nd opinion to compare, which only proved I was right to want to stay with Canby Smiles for my current and future dental needs. I am 43 years old, and everyone here has been everything I've looked for in a dentist but have yet to find until now. I highly recommend you give Canby Smiles a chance, because I'm positive you won't be disappointed, if after years of dental anxiety I can come to love a dental office and its staff, than most assuredly anyone can. Update It was a long road because of my dental issues, but I can honestly say the final results of the dental work are AMAZING. Unfortunately, my mouth rejected an implant, but Dr. Weiland & team were still able to make a bridge and crowns to work, and my smile looks LITERALLY look good as new, they look JUST LIKE my original teeth!!. I could NOT have done ANY of it without Dr. Weiland, Angela & the rest of his team. They were ALWAYS making sure my anxiety and/or any pain was immediately addressed and cared for, while still giving me phenomenal results. It was Truly a team effort, and they are a remarkable team; everyone at Canby Smiles is a remarkable person. I owe them my smile, which to me, is priceless. I URGE you to go to Canby Smiles, ESPECIALLY if you suffer from ANY dental anxiety, you will NOT regret it.
