Physicians or social workers refer patients. CSN caseworkers assess individual and family needs on a case-by-case basis. Financial program distributions are based on household income and family size. Support programs are available to anyone who is dealing with a cancer diagnosis regardless of income or family size.
CSN provides financial, emotional, and social support to under-served cancer patients and their families in 19 counties in the Central West Texas area. These counties include: Brown, Callahan, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Fisher, Haskell, Jones, Kent, Knox, Mitchell, Nolan, Runnels, Scurry, Shackelford, Stephens, Stonewall, Taylor and Throckmorton.
