YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER, MORE ACCOMMODATING SUPPLIER! We built a brand-new home, three bathrooms and a large kitchen with lots of tiled surfaces. Neil and John, who run this business, could not have been more accommodating, more helpful or more supportive. They were always there, on time, with ideas, advice and the best quality products. Of all the suppliers and contractors we used and there were MANY, these folks were the best and always ready to got the extra mile for us.. And it is heartening, in a time of impersonal, big-box stores and online suppliers to find a family run business that really cares about their customers. Thank you for helping us make our home beautiful!
Go see John at Cancos! He is the most down to earth guy and has an amazing eye for design! He made taking 5 children into a tile store painless! I am just blown away by his customer service. Best customer service experience of my life.
I have never taken the time to write a review however to help others with their decision making I am doing so.I have to say this is the best customer service I've encountered. Veena the sales rep/designer spent a lot of time with me explaining the different options that would be ideal for my bathroom. She was wonderful. Shopping at Cancos of Smithtown is an amazing experience. The selection of tiles is extensive and the staff is so welcoming and knowledgeable. We worked with Neil who is a tremendous asset to your work force. He coordinated tiles with special accents to make my selection just perfect. His expertise coupled with his outgoing personality is worthy of writing this review.
For me home renovations are a pain but working with Cancos Smithtown is a pleasure. Their selection is great but even better are the people. Neil, the manager, runs an efficient store where viewing, selecting, buying and receiving the tiles is seamless. John, their design lead, is a delight to work with and his very keen sense helped me match colors and patterns into a thrilling design for my bath and kitchen. Among all the places and and all the people I worked with for renovating my kitchen and bath, Cancos with Neil and John were by far the best to work with. Tanya from their Commack store, who sometimes works in this store is also a delight. Never pushy, straight forward pricing and great advice with a smile makes Cancos awesome. I can't wait for my next renovation. Not! But at least I know where to start, the next time I embark on one.
OMG! Cancos in Smithtown is a 10 plus in my book. John is the most helpful, kind, knowledgeable "tile maven" on the face of the planet. He truly wants you to be beyond satisfied. He brainstorms ideas with you and makes great suggestions. He is such a delight to work with. Neil is fabulous and always there for you. John's patience, design flair, and honest opinions are so amazing. If you need beautiful tile, great service and complete honesty look no further. Love him!
Just had a wonderful experience at Cancos Tile and Stone in Smithtown. My dad and I worked with John Swenning and he was beyond helpful. He helped us design my powder room and kept us in budget. If you are looking for ideas and beautiful tile give them a try! I totally recommend it!
As a contractor I have been using Cancos in Smithtown for 10+ years, I have sent customers there time and time again and when they get back to us they always say how great the staff was at the store and the service was great. Neil and John are extremely knowledgeable and always doing the best for the customer and the contractor to make tile selections, project ideas and delivery run smooth.
I just got back from Cancos and I can't say enough about the staff, especially Neil. I went there with chipped porcelain tile and grouting issues. The service was prompt, courteous and professional. He told me how to remedy my problems easily and economically. They didn't sell me a thing! I'm definitely returning there when the time comes. Thanks again Neil.
