Below par course conditions EXCEPT for the greens. Bare patches every where, some fairways were overgrown, just not a pleasing sight. Also there was a freaking dead tractor in the middle of the 8 fairway just chilling there that made me laugh in disbelief. However the greens are overwhelmingly in great shape and at 28 bucks for a Saturday round with a cart it's not bone chillingly awful. If it was 20 bucks it would be a better pill to swallow in my humble opinion.
This is by far one of the best places to eat in Calhoun County. The "Almost Perfect Sandbaggin Burger" is excellent. That servers are so great. They are always smiling and very friendly. Any issue you may have, they're there to make sure your eating experience is the best it can be. It is one of my favorite places to eat lunch or dinner. I'm looking forward to getting back out there soon.
The grass is the same height as the cart. The “groundsman” singular was hustling used golf balls in the parking lot & picking in the woods while I lost every ball he sold me mostly in the fairways!!! As much as it pains me I try to stop here during the week to hit the range & it almost never open!!!!! “Ball man ain’t picked em” was the answer I received. What a joke?? I don’t know why they are putting money into a building when the business is clearly falling apart!! Pitiful how far this place has fallen
The restaurant is amazing. Better than most in the Oxford/Anniston area. The golf is what you would expect for the price. The people in the pro shop are rude and indignant.Food: 5/5
Went up on prices but they can’t even make the course look better. Or have the grass complete for the weekend. You expect to go on a Saturday and Sunday and see the course at it’s best but you’d think it was a $5 round at a failing course. Government ran golf at its finest. Sarcasm
The grille has some of the best burger around ! The course is getting better and better.Food: 5/5
Great place to eat. The hamburgers are outstanding and sweet tea is perfect.Food: 5/5
I eat here at least once a week for lunch, good place to go.Food: 5/5
We attended a summer event here. It was warm outside but the event started later in the evening. The bar attendants were nice and knowledgeable. They served quickly. The outdoor patio was refreshing to sit at. The place is a little tight for a huge gathering unless you use the outdoor space and take advantage of the lawn which these hosts did. It was a great time and we will visit again. Parking: There isn't a lot of parking directly in front of the building but there us a large parking lot just across the way. You can drive up the circle driveway to drop off passengers before parking.
The best omelets in town! One of my favorite Saturday morning breakfast spots. Although they have stopped opening early, time changed to 9am. So I've not been able to stop the last few weeks. They also have a great lunch! Best chili dog I've had in a hot minute. And I love when Rhonda works, she's absolutely a hoot!
