The service was incredibly slow, although we were one of the two only tables that were being served at a time, so not sure what the problem was. We came for a happy hour, ordered two happy hour pizzas and they were tiny. I wish they warned us about the size since we ordered the exact same pizzas before and they we normal size-twice as big as the happy hour ones. We left very hungry and disappointed, but did not want to risk ordering more food there, since it would probably take another 50 minutes.
This place has great potential, but it needs to improve on service. Tried this place once for dinner and once for happy hour, and both times we had long waits for ordering and getting food. They need to figure out the staffing or step it up because what they're doing now is not working. The pizza is good, but FYI the happy hour pizza is more like a personal pizza so it's not a great deal. 1/2 price = 1/2 size.
The food was on the good side of average. Service was on the other side of average. It was empty the night we were there but it was very cold out so that may have had an impact.Food: 4/5
Had a wonderful evening here celebrating my daughter's birthday. This place would deserve 5 stars, however I had to deduct one because of service. It was early on a Friday evening and they still weren't that busy so there's no excuse for our table being neglected. Food was great. My 3 kids ordered the pizza and were able to go to the oven and create their masterpieces with toppings. Their pizzas came super fast and they enjoyed them. My husband and I ordered two full size pizzas and it seemed to take forever to get them. We asked twice about our order thinking maybe it got forgotten-- each time we are assured that it was coming. It seems very strange that 3 kids sized pizzas take 5 minutes to come to the table and two adult size pizzas take over 30 minutes. Aside from the extremely slow service we had a nice evening. I would recommend that you stay on top of your order and don't be afraid to give your server friendly reminders that you are hungry :
Very disappointed. I ordered food to take out. When I got home. I found out the portions were not even enough for the kids. The containers were almost empty. I will never go back there.
I was hoping to find another restaurant in Mount Prospect but this was just not good. The spaghetti with marinera looked like someone poured a glass of water of the plate before it came out. The soup of the day tasted like it was either not made at the restaurant or was reheated. The server was nice but the kitchen was super backed up. The food was taking so long that I asked them to bring us some bread. The bread tasted like it was getting stale. I really hope they improve the food bc it's a great location.
Had a banquet experience. The food was good, service excellent. I would go here again.Food: 4/5
We ordered during the latest Chicago snow storm! They were so accommodating and the pizza tasted great as always!
The place was preparing for a bigger event, setting tables and chair while we were eating. Very noisy and not pleasant atmosphere.Food: 3/5
The two girls/hostesses working on 6/17 around 6p were a useless b rude and c had the worst attitudes you could have on a busy Friday night. Came in expecting to be helped per usual but after a few minutes, they didn’t acknowledge us. When I finally asked if this is where you put your name on the list, I was rudely told to wait a moment. For what? Who knows because she just left me hanging there. The lobby is small and had servers coming in and out in addition to customers. Since I was not standing off to either side of the entryway because I was waiting to get helped, the other hostess told me to “wait over on the side so I don’t get knocked over.” Really?! This is how you talk to customers? Next time learn some business acumen or get some real people skills by talking to customers in a nice and respectful tone. Otherwise, you should take up another career choice not involving people, restaurants or paying patrons. This place is a joke. Wound up going down the street to a place that had a nicer, more mature hostess and overall better environment.
