Almost all of the food on the buffet was very old all of the chicken dishes had the mushiest chicken I have ever seen. The only reason I could give a 1 star is because the waitress was polite. I had a 1/4 of a plate and couldn't stomach any more I am usually a 4 sometimes 5 plate kind of guy so needless to say I left hungry. Had to get something to eat on my way home
I have been going to Canton for over 30 years. The former owners are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. With the new owner I expected changes, however the food is still fantastic. She has added a few new things. This is one of the few buffets that I still love to go too.
Staff was constantly refilling the buffet. Food was hot and very good. Some people were waiting on chicken wings but fresh hot food was continually being brought out from the kitchen so if you are waiting on one specific item try something else and come back when your item is refilled. Great dinner!Food: 4/5
Use to be my only choice for Chinese food but new management now charges per lb on takeout if it's over 2lbs. Nope.. boycott I shall. Good luck with your new business practices. Will be sure to spread word to everyone I can!
This is the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. It's an extremely poor attempt at making a Chinese food buffet and I actually had to pay for it. I wouldn't feed any one of those dishes to my dog. I had such a craving for Chinese food before I tasted their food. No amount of soy sauce could make that trash edible.
I have been getting take out there for a long time,. I went the other night and the new owner is now charging take out by the pound. It used to be if the lid shut it was one set price. I will no longer visit this restaurant, sorry but you lost me as a customer and I am sure many more will follow.
Food always been very good but recently got cashew chicken and very disappointed! Think there was only two little cashews and no bamboo shoots at all! Won’t order this again!
I have always heard of this place and the rave reviews, but I’m not on that side of town very often. Well, yesterday I was, so I stopped by. I started with some Hot/sour soup and it was good. I like to try different Chinese entrees so I gave the Hung Sue Gai #6a chance. It was good! A pile of chicken and vegetables and a perfect portion of steamed rice. The service was quick and very friendly! The buffet isn’t open at the moment but you won’t leave hungry with the portions you get here. Recommend. Some of the best Chinese food in Evansville.
Food & service always great, restaurant is clean, it's just older and could use updates. This is our "go too"for Chinese!Food: 5/5
Still tasty as ever and good service, depending on who you get. Since things have changed, if you go buffet, be prepared for items that are waiting to be refilled. Best deal on the menu is the dinner for two.
