This library is great! I love the vast foreign selections and they always have activities for all ages. My only negative feedback is that the children’s section could use more toys and imaginative play areas. They have a lot of devices for the kids to use, which is great, but my hometown library has dress up clothes, kitchen areas, toy cars, a big playhouse, building blocks and all sorts of toys that I could take my kids to during the winter months for a change of pace and to meet new friends.
This library is a jewel. I can think of no better use of my taxpayer money than this library police and fire excluded. It's a beautiful building. It has a great collection. The MeL transfer system makes it almost unlimited. And it's stayed up with the times with the digital lending opportunities. I love this library.
The Canton Public Library is the best library I have ever visited.  I have been to bigger libraries and fancier libraries and more homey libraries but the one that actually provides all the services I could imagine from a Public Library is the Canton Public Library! As a public building and location it is kept clean and orderly.  The bathrooms are kept up to date and clean.  There is a small place to get snacks and drinks in the building and this concession area is also kept neat and clean.  It is attractive as well. The staff are engaged and interested in individual patrons and their needs.  They have assisted me in several ways.  Not only is the building in great shape and the services inside first rate they have an excellent online presence. I have been able to use the services at the Canton Public Library to pursue my love of languages, track down my genealogy, perform historical research, biological research and other work.  Of course I also get the materials I dearly love to read from here also. The organization of the library itself also involves the community in many wonderful projects they put on regularly.  These include conversations, book reading and special guests.  Their public rooms are available for reasonable rates
Best library that I have ever been to. Wonderful programs and activities for all ages. I just wished they could build another one the same because our city has grown so much. I know Ann Arbor has multiple locations.
Best library tbh very clean and organized and also great area to do work or study. I love how they have a separate area for food only very cleans and lovely atmosphere
Very cute kids area, with toys and games integrated throughout and nice selection of book. What really sets this library apart is the exceptionally friendly and helpfully staff!!!
Nice library, plenty of things for all ages. Love the kids area of library. Wishing the area would be cleaned more, never seen someone cleaning the play areas/wall or table games/iPad. Staff is very helpful.
Very loud! I was shocked. I'll go there to check stuff out but what a joke, horrible place for peace and quiet. Plymouth library is way better! Thanks edit/repost/comment..I found it too loud..no it's too loud. Thanks for your pointless comment. Some of the staff are rude. Also staff is super talkative add to the noise problem. Repost/ does the staff understand the concept of a library
Very helpful staff. The library is a bright cheerful place to visit. Lots of computers if you get there prior to school letting out. A few years back I went back to school for a vocation change tune up. Did a great deal of my school work there on the computers. It was a life saver. I couldn't afford a computer and internet connection while retooling for new work. Love the ability to get books out through Hoopla and Libby. A life saver during Pandemic!! Thank you Canton from a loyal local citizen.
Feedback: would recommend changing print systems to use credit cards, or Apple Pay, the method of payment for print out seems outdated. If one loses the print card, then they would have to purchase a new one. I lost one. The library staff however were courteous and gave me a card. But probably won’t in the future depending on it’s availability. Also, anybody who reaches before you at the printers can print your material which is a privacy and security concern
