Canyon Flours Bakery is a family owned gluten and dairy free kitchen located in the heart of beautiful downtown Palm Springs.



"We are a bread bakery striving for excellence, focusing on quality.Our business model is built upon positive human capital, living wages, and high standards in everything we do. We are dedicated to supporting our community and the environment.Our selections consist of whole foods and plant-based ingredients, free from animal products. Everything we create and offer at our bakery is dairy-free, egg-free, additive-free, and preservative-free.We bake fresh on-site using organic whole and locally sourced grains from American farms. Every loaf contains organic whole grains and is made using the sourdough process, employing long fermentation. It takes 36 hours to produce each sourdough loaf from start to finish."

Bread and Flours has become an essential part of any trip to Palm Springs for us. We love sourdough- we seek it out everywhere we go - and this is some of the best we’ve had. But even more than their boules and loaves - this focaccia is one of the best things we’ve ever eaten!! And they carry a tasty local kombucha and I boot!
Excellent breads , among other great products. Family owned amazing people so nice.a definitely must to buy your weekly breads it's the best. Pure natural ingredients so nutritious.
This place is so darling! So lucky we popped in when they were open. The focaccia was so delicious and we picked up two pizza doughs to make for dinner and they were so kind to give us some flour to roll out the dough and parchment paper to take back to our air bnb. Definitely recommend!
What an adorable local bakery. The owner was so treated our whole family including kiddos so kind. The lemon bread was delicious and we can’t wait to try all the different types of bread! A new must stop for us.
Focaccia with tomatoes, herbs and olive oil is one of the tastiest things I’ve had in a long time. Taste is clean, perfect and fresh. Got a very warm welcome and a great introduction to all the bakery items from the owner. Amazing to find this evolved a bakery in Palm Springs.
We just moved here from Chicago and so happy we found B&F! The bread is outstanding and it's great to know the ingredients are so clean and fresh. The store is designed so you can see all the equipment and Mark slaving away. Kristin always has a smile and a big hello. Go there - you won't be disappointed and their latest date walnut bread is to die for!
Great bakery specializing in sour dough breads but that's not all! They have granolas, kombucha, dates, fig sausage, and other foodie goodies. Today I had their banana bread! Amazing! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Only open two days a week... Thursday and Saturday so you need to plan ahead. They frequently sell out so don't wait until the last minute. They take pride in knowing the source all the grains that go into their breads.
Very kind. Good bread. Personally preferred the baguette. For me the sourdough tended more towards a wholemeal and missed a bit of chew. For sure the best bread I've had in PS.
Somebody please help these people run their business. They have a great product. Unfortunately, no one seems to understand how to run a business there as they are never open. Hint… you only aggravate people when you’re only open for a couple hours a day, twice a eeek, and then close minutes before the posted hours.
We are extremely lucky to have B&F in Palm Springs. Outstanding quality and everything is so thoughtfully done—right down to the packaging. We’ve bought flours for our own baking experiments and have also thoroughly enjoyed their weekly bread offerings. It is taking a lot of strength not to just tear into the beautiful focaccia I just picked up! Pay them a visit. Every week!
