Officers forgot to turn their patrol car rear lights off after previous traffic stop, you would think the two officers in the patrol car would notice traffic not going around them for miles, or their lights reflecting off of surrounding vehicles. Self awareness 0, luckily there’s no real crime in cape. impeding traffic and going under the speed limit. And let’s not forget Ginger the German Shepherd who was ran over and killed by a Lee county school bus with a ccpd officer on scene. The officer responding had full control over the scene and could’ve made the proper decision to have the bus driver park the bus until the dog was brought to safety.
The worst! Arresting people for no reason. Kidnapping people with false allegations. Arresting for officer safety? Are you kidding me? Officers full of weapons and scared of people with a camera. Department full of tyrants that profile and think they can make up there own laws. And some people wonder why cops are hated so much, this is why! I want justice, but that won’t happen. These cops cover each other and think that they are above the law.
Had an unfortunate interaction with an Officer that is relatively new to the force and decided to pull me over a couple minutes after clocking me. As the officer approached, I asked an immediate question that was related to the stop. The officer immediately decided to escalate the situation and insisted on my bad attitude and rude remarks. This officer was very short tempered and was upset I was 2mph less than a mandatory court appearance. Be careful when dealing with any units at CCPD, when you commit a traffic violation in Cape Coral there's a 9/10 chance your getting a ticket.
Female officer tailgates a man who is driving, running his plates, and almost rear ends the guy when he stops because light turns red. Then proceeds to pull him over, not one time tries to identify herself, Doesn’t turn on her body camera and lies about it when driver catches her turning it on. Proceeds to give him a ticket for a “Stop Bar” violation, even though he was trying to help her avoid the accident SHE ALMOST CAUSED because she wasn’t f’n PAYING ATTENTION! Guy had 8 cameras on the car. Skid marks in the road, supervisor lets crooked female officer issue ticket with Zero reprimand, after she throws ticket in the car. Is this how you train officers!? You realize this is why there’s a disconnect between citizens and police because of bad policing and childish attitudes? But that’s how you want to be known, right? Pathetic…
So this city is full of cowardly police!!! Arrested a man for officer safety. He was asking questions and the cop became afraid ... need to retrain all the officers on filming in PUBLIC property and what the distance is Considered to be safe when there's no tape up marking the scene!!!!!
I reported a contractor illegally, dumping hurricane debris and garbage in an empty lot next to my house that they do not own. I reported it to the Cape Coral police department and They did not dispatch anybody within 24 hours to the call. I have cameras on my property not one officer showed up, but when I called to ask about my report, you say you dispatch somebody but your lying you did not dispatch anyone and my cameras will prove it. Rts is the company that illegally dumped and left glass and debris all o we the street, I have videos of them and they destroyed the street there is now broken glass all over the road as well as all other kinds of debris and apparently that’s okay to do in the Cape Coral police departments eyes. Keep cool police department just keeps getting worse and worse.
Very lame service...Very disappointing, I have had 2 trucks stolen within 5 months....atleast my 1984 Chevy custum K-10 anyways... I had a 1999 dodge ram 2500 V-10 black in color with a extended cab just come up missing this week. Still no word on either one of my vehicles. Not only was my trucks stolen. My wife and I lost everything else we had in hurricane Ian. We just now got our money from FEMA today. Thank God for family and family only because my wife and I would be homeless Still. We had to fly back north to my parent house because they could not put us in a hotel because of them all being completely booked. Very lousy state management in my opinion!
Just saw a video of a stranded Jet Skier off the coast near Picnic island…. Your “Officers” ticketed a stranded rider. Left him in distress out in the middle of the water with a broken steering cable… he asked for a tow from the officers and they replied “we arent a towing service” and leaves the man with a citation… this is caught on film… Sea Gods have no remorse for this type of behavior from people who are paid to “protect and serve” Yall are trash along with the rest of the justice system. Go flip burgers if you cant do what youre trained to do. Waste of tax dollars… After reading the comments…. This place is known for its injustices. Bunch of washed up officers in this department.
The website says a police department open 24 hours A-day 7 days a week They lie They're close on Sunday. Ring the doorbell spoke to the dispatcher. How to wait 2 and a 1/2 hours in a parking lot to speak Speak to a Officer. I never heard of my life a police station being closed on Sunday Worst experience of my life
I have just watched a video in which the aggressive attitude of the policemen from this department towards the filming capers of the citizens is presented. The safety of the officers is actually about the cowardice of the officers and their fear of being caught breaking the law, exposing the abuse of power and violating the rights of citizens. This is what a European saw
