Cape Girardeau Regional Airport is a city-owned, public-use airport in Scott County, Missouri, United States. It located five nautical miles (6 mi, 9 km) southwest of the central business district of Cape Girardeau, a city in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. The airport is used for general aviation, and has scheduled service by American Airlines partner Cape Air with subsidized Essential Air Service program flights to Lambert-St. Louis International Airport.As per Federal Aviation Administration records, the airport had 443 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008, 978 enplanements in 2009, and 4,862 in 2010. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation airport based on 2008/2009 enplanements (the commercial service category requires at least 2,500 enplanements per year).

Who wants to fly Nashville,  local wants to go St. Louis for medical reason or Chicago for international flights,  but no we have to go Nashville. Lol.  “Lawmaker tell us what to do always. “  hopefully somebody wake up someday figure out, why - why Nashville.   Lol But it is a great airport with a great people working in there,  outstanding customer service.  Clean and safe.

Not to bad much smaller airport. People were nice when I ask a question.

Cape Girardeau Regional Airport is awesome.  Living nearly 3 hours away from St Louis International, this little 1 terminal airport is a life saver for me. In and out quickly with courteous staff....even TSA..lol Since it is a Regional and not International airport,  you don't get quite the selection of flights and times but if you schedule it right it's the BEST!

For a small airport, it is amazing. Its great to not have to drive to St Louis for a flight out. Staff there were nice, polite and helpful.

Dining at the Airport Restaurant is a real treat. The fish and sides are the best you'll find anywhere and very reasonably priced. Great people, courteous people that are there for you, whether it's a drink refill or for more fish. I'll use an old slogan here. "Try it, you'll like it.

For a small airport, this is a pretty good place to start or end a trip. The location is small which allows for quicker baggage check ins or pickups. Security is also fairly quick. Cape Air is a great airline for this airport. My only small issue is that the staff are not helpful all the time. Upon going for the first time, I approached some staff to ask a question about arrivals. I had to interrupt their phone-based trivia game, and as a result, was sighed at. Other than those folks, a great experience.

Left and Flown into this airport quiet a few times to St. Louis over the years to connecting flights kind of a small airport not much happening here vs the big ones. Convenient enough to catch a flight out or in. Wish it was a little bit bigger and more flights as hours do vary as flight times no late hours so might check flight times to see if they are open. One time I was trying to catch a flight back to Cape but found out they were closed so I had to shuttle my way back to Cape.

The TSA agents and staff were so wonderful and sweet! First time at this airport and I can’t wait to fly from here again! Keep up the great attitude!

Who wants to fly to Nashville? Zero international flights. How dumb cape Girardeau! Figure out how to get flights back to Chicago!!!

It was ok. I was there today. So different, just like a bar or a histel and one of the smallest and most quiet airport I've ever visited in my life couple with small planes that fly in and out of the airport.
