Well, after 4 months beyond the date promised, Carroll County government finally lived up to his promise and is building a new playground for children along with a covered concreted area. Hooray for Carroll County government! They kept their word. Cape Horn is a beautiful park with no less than five full size soccer fields, two full size baseball fields, a paved walking trail surrounded by beautiful Rolling Hills of Northern Central Maryland. You will see the new playground going up in the background of one of the photos I am attaching. The playground should be operational before Autumn ends of 2022.
Woohoo! The the playground is now under construction! Nice park with paved walking trail. Sign has been standing since end of school year 2022. It’s end if summer and still waiting.
Absolutely beautiful park. There are plenty of places to park, a playground, several sports fields and a very well kept walking trail!

Great place to walk. Upper ridge affords excellent kite flying breezes.
Great easy waking path. Fields for organized sports, playground for the littles, even a short path into the woods with a few picnic tables. The surface of the path is well maintained and stays fairly dry even after a heavy rain. We walk every day and this is a "go to" for us.
Cape Horn Park is a beautiful place to bring the kids for their playground. The fields are kept clean and are used by a variety of sports activities. There's a great walking trail around the whole property for the jogging and walking enthusiasts. Great park!
Nice park. Great paved walking trail. Playground for the kids. Limited parking during soccer season with the North Carroll Rec Council playing their soccer here. Still a great park. On the weekends when there are sport events parking is still an issue.
The fields are well maintained along with the mile plus walking path which has a wooded trail also.I can't forget to mention that everyone I ran into are very friendly.
I run here as much as possible. The inclines can be difficult for a novice runner and the place is always well cared for. Small playground and always a port a pot available. During spring and summer season this park is busy with daily sports of soccer and baseball from what I have seen. 2 stations throughout the trail for cleaning up your dog's mess as well.
