This university allows you to obtain a high quality education. Very friendly staff and students. Multiple services, housing, and eateries. The smaller classes CapU offers allow you to take advantage of better communication with professors. Overall great experience so far!
It's a lovely university with a great ambiance and teachers are also very nice and friendly.
I did an Intro to QuickBooks Online course with Capilano University in 2020 and it was very good. The instructor had an extensive knowledge of QuickBooks Online, was very well prepared for class, and very thorough in her teaching. She went above and beyond, giving us extra tips for using QBO, which have been very helpful since. The exercises and assignments were well designed, and appropriate for using a QBO student account where you can only have one company. A very well designed and delivered course.
When you say your registration office is open on your website, why it's close??? People plan for their life and this is such a bad reputation for a "university"
Honestly, Capilano University is doing an amazing job. My daughter Selin studied with Capilano, her bachelor degree almost done. She loved the school and Capilano University, let her feel very special. She loved the small classes, easy access to her professors and doing real projects with other students. I can tell her she studied non stop and she never got tired because she learned a lot. As a parent I am very thankful, and appreciated a lot, because you add a lot of value to my daughter life and for other students. I congratulate the who established the Capilano University and who brings it to today level you guys are awesome. Thank you
I am so excited that my son is going to be attending Cap . I’ve heard great things about their animation / film programs . Unfortunately trying to call and get help on how to navigate their web page , students loans , payment deadlines has been a horrible experience. The telephone staff are very unhelpful, I’ve had to Argue with the receptionist to get transferred to the proper help . She keeps saying it’s on the web , clearly it is and I am needing a person to assist me through the process. This was the most difficult telephone staff to date …. FUSTERATED MOM
The building is beautiful and surrounded by nature, difficult to access though. For international students the fees are highly expensive and I do not think that is worthy comparing to the education and class that they offer. In my case, as my English was not so good at the time, NABU and Capilano University were a pathway to stay longer in Canada, however I do not recommend if your plans are to receive outstanding education and upgrade your resume. In my opinion, the courses should be better designed, especially for international students who pay more.. and are supposed to be prepared for the competitive market.
Most amazing atmosphere, wonderful teachers, and I just can't say enough good things about this school. Enrolled several years ago, but still kept my books and notes from old classes. I am still in touch with couple of my teachers.
I been going to Capilano University for 2.5 years now. I give this university 3 starts. Don't get me wrong, I love studying at Capilano University, the Campus is amazing, people there are great. BUT, they really are not helpful at all. Its impossible to get a hold of the Registers Office or the CIE. If you encounter any trouble with registration, or paperwork or anything, just be ready to figure it out yourself because they don't even pick up the phone, and when they do they just say that they can't help and send you to another department. It's so annoying that as an international student we pay 10.000 dollars a semester, and can't even get help or access all the services.
