At the 56th Grand Chapter meeting, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. voted to study the inclusion of a Social Action project referred to as the Kappa League, into the Guide Right Program. The project embodies all the aspects of leadership development and self-motivation for career achievement. The study proved feasible and is now recommended for full chapter participation.
The Kapital District Kappa League will seek to raise the sights of high school students in the New York Kapital District to accomplishments higher than might otherwise be realized or even imagined. Reliance will be placed on high Christian ideals and the purpose of achievement. As a tribute to the ten founders of Kappa Alpha Psi, and to their faith in humanity that neither by statue nor implication, shall anyone be barred from membership by reason of race, religion, or national origin.
