Used this bank for a business account for 6 months before closing and switching to chase where I have personal accounts and have always been pleased. Capital one continually told me different things every time I called or I went in and never could fully resolve any issues I had with them. It’s not normal to hold checks for 2-3 weeks and I became very annoyed with this on going issue for the whole time I had an account open. Just save yourself time and money and go elsewhere.
Went in on a Saturday to open a checking account. There were two tellers and one banker working. Waited forty minutes to speak to a banker. Finally sat down with the banker, and there were numerous problems with opening an account. The banker had to keep leaving the desk to help the tellers who were assisting with both the line and the drive through. I left before finishing the account because of the lacking staff and ineptness. As I’m walking out the door, there are easily 25 people waiting in line to speak with a teller. Capital One is obviously more concerned with becoming a neobank than honoring their in-person customers. Went to Wells Fargo to open a checking account and it took less than 15 minutes. Don’t waste your time if you’re looking for a traditional bank.
Worst banking experience ever. The branch manager Gail is absolutely horrible with customer service not only could she do nothing to help me take a hold I didn’t want on the entire $60k in my account, but she clearly didn’t care about the fact that them bouncing my ACH payments to my alcohol vendors would be reported to TABC and could cost me my liquor license. Her response was to condescend, rather than assure and at least act like she cared. I am a new business banking, merchant processing and business credit card customer. I am glad I had not yet closed my Chase account. I will be closing all accounts ASAP with this company.
Uh, there's no bank lmao They done did closed the dang bank a year ago. I thought this was the last open one in my area, but they are all closed. I need to deposit cash! How do you expect me to do that online!? If this bank was a person I would shake them.
You don't get don't get great customer service if you're black. You just get 50 million reasons why you can't be serviced. I called before driving over to see if I can do a loan payoff with a check from Navy Federal they say yes. When I get over there first the payoff am amount was different because the teller did another 10 day payoff instead of using the 10 day payoff they gave me on the 17th. Get that resolved then the supervisor comes and tells me the check has to be mailed in. Ok fine just mailed it in so glad to be officially done with capital one period!!!
The branch manager Gail was so rude and disrespectful. I tried to cash a payroll check and was told I couldn't even though the check was a capital one account. When i was explaining my situation to another employee Carolynn, Gail was in the background saying things under her breathe. I never felt so disrespected in my life and I absolutely feel like it's because I'm black and the amount on the check was high. I will never get a capital one account!!!!!!!!!
I went in yesterday to pay on my credit card but the older lady kept pushing me to use the ATM to process the payment. She said they just came online this week. Hahaha it takes weeks to work all the bugs out so I didn’t want to use the machine I just wanted her to process my payment and do her job. After about 2 minutes of battling with her she said ok with a smug attitude. We get to the counter and she said since you don’t want to use the machine I need your DL and Social Security Number. Why can’t you use my CC and ID to look at my account like every other time I do this. She said new rules. I then lost my cool turned around and said I’ll go to another branch. She said it’s the same at all branches. Hahahaha this lady doesn’t even know here own company rules cause I went to A surrounding city and they took my payment with just my ID and CC with no problem. This lady is terrible at her job. Lazy Lazy Lazy. Since they don’t want to do their job I’ll be closing both of my CC accounts and going to another bank. Tired of BS with Capital One.
I went into the branch with a friend to cash a check. Now just like I read on other reviews we called ahead of time before driving 30mins and was told that it would be no problem. When we got there there was nothing but excuses as to why they couldn't do anything. They made me feel as if they were unwilling to help. Gail Rigsby is the most disrespectful person at the location. I was appalled when as I was there she started talking bad about us under her breath in front of us. Worst part about it is we were actually getting ready to open an account there, but after the extremely poor customer service I'm glad that we dodged that bullet. I've never been so greatly disrespected by someone in a professional setting ever in life. I will never go to this location again.
Service is awful! I tried to make a cc payment and the lady short hair, blond, elderly, glasses was really rude. Called customer service already to do the complaint. And by the way... We are closing our Business account with this bank . Really bad service...
I do have credit card from capital one bank. All the time i went this branch. They have smart and professional staff, which can satisfied customer service. Thanks capital one bank.
