Staff here is super friendly. Store is impressively stocked. Love all of the options and their Cold beer area.
I agree with review below. I, a 33 year old woman with my 34 year old husband came in. We both grab our stuff, she asks for id and a second piece. My hubby who happens to have a full face of hair didn't have his with him so she wouldn't let me buy his beer. I think someone is taking their "power" a little too seriously. I don't mind getting asked for id, I enjoy it honestly but that was really unnecessary. With the price point, I just won't bother go in again
Little excessive while asking for id. I Totally understand since I have worked at a store that requires id but I’ll happily go somewhere else.
Good selection. Friendly staff.
Aptly named, with a very good selection for its size and a full on walk-in cold room with all the items you could want pre-chilled. This isn't some small back room. It's about 1/2 the size of the main area. It's like a frozen spa for booze. I love this place.
The strangest thing happened. It was July 21 I was purchasing the smallest amount of alcohol. A young girl I have never seen before got what I asked for then asked for my phone # . I don't have one here. I said . She told me she didn't feel comfortable serving me . Didn't ask for ID . I left peacefully and wished her a good night . I've shopped there a lot. Sorry but you lost my loyally
Bad selection - rude staff - they don’t help or have product knowledge- often out of stock - not worth it; go to BCL
A little pricey and feels a bit cliquey like a private club. So since this review it's been over a year and I purchase my favorite beverage every single day of the week. I'm still very disappointed at just how rude and cold the stuff are. I get an attitude of superiority. I come in after work and since I work outdoors doing very hands on, dirty work I admit I'm a tad grubby when I come in but I always hand sanitize, I'm double vaxed and had my booster but still treated like something they stepped in. Terrible. I have always been friendly and polite and notice that when in line EVERYONE ahead of me is treated to small talk and friendliness that is not available to me. I know I sound very petty and very much like a victim. I apologize if I come across that way, but I am a loyal customer and I do not think it's too much to ask that treated like one. I'm also offended that when there are several customers in front of me that I am the only one required to tap through the glass. I've tried to be a friendly, loyal customer but I am now willing to drive to Cranberry where I am treated very well and all the staff are wonderfully friendly. And they charge $5 less for the product that I buy daily. Can't say I'll miss being dismissed as "not good enough" but I will say that it's the first time in 40+ years that I've been treated so dismissively. Such a shame because there are several staff members that I truly like. Just like to add an update. I No Longer purchase product from Capone's and I Never Ever will again. The liqour industry requires a very particular kind of non judgemental attitude and anyone whose worked in the industry knows what I'm talking about. It's not supposed to feel like a special club no one is good enough to join. Snobbery and superior attitude has No place in the industry and I do know what I'm talking about. I have almost 40 years experience. It is the only liqour establishment in my life that I have ever experienced such judgemental and dismissive treatment. I dont know who they think they are, but they are pathetically misguided. I've heard stories about name calling and gossiping about customers from other employees who remain nameless for obvious reasons And its more than one or two people I've heard this from. That is so unexceptable!!! We all have a back story and I guess the management thinks that none of us will ever find out theirs. I find it's those that have the dirtiest closets that point the most fingers. It's all distraction, of course. Hiding something big requires constant finger pointing to keep everyone looking the other way. I realize I'm getting very personal and I'm actually a little embarrassed by that but the treatment and quality of service is appalling. And at the inflated prices one should expect to be treated with respect. I wrongly assumed this was an adult establishment. Go figure!
My go to place for booze buying. Very nice selection and the staff are friendly.
Service was very helpful
