Used to order from here quite a bit. Then I called one day to order and all the sudden the prices they have on their website AND their menu in the store went up which is fine but had to literally argue we were JUST there 2 days ago and it went up atleast $15. Also they sell family meals that USED to come with fries also, JUST got food from here and ordered a family meal and fries came with it, a different guy is working and all the sudden fries don't come with the family meal anymore and he says it changed a year ago which was a lie because we were JUST there for food not even a month before. Used to come here for family meals and larger meals but not anymore.
My first time at this location, the customer service was great! But when the guy was seasoning my food he couldn’t close the top and WITH HIS BARE HAND adjust the chicken so he could close the plate… mind this was after touching the register and handling my moneyFood: 5/5
Nice place to hang out, with good atmosphere. The menu is not extensive, but whatever you order taste good.
There are some places I like to “keep all to myself.” This is one of those hidden gems. Today, I ordered the jumbo shrimp and fries. 10 really big deep fried shrimp, and too many fries for me to finish. The breading was light, crispy, and the shrimp were great. All were made to order, and served hot. If you have the chance, come and try this independent treasure in New Hope.
Service, quality, consistency and value, it's all here! We ordered from Captin Hooks 4 times last week. tonight we ordered for the 5th time. The service is competent, friendly, professional and fast! The taste, quality, portions and flavor beats all the competition in MANY locations serving similar foods such as other hooks, pappy etc. Great menu, pleanty of choices for families & picky eaters. I highly reccomend a try!
Did not try the fish or chicken here, but heard from some very pleased patrons on their way out that "The Catfish was excellent!" I tried the Gyro Burger with fries. Delicious! Served with all the fixings and a toasted Brioche bun. Cooked perfectly and tasted outstanding. Really enjoyed the French fries as well. Prepped and fried fresh and coated with a tasty house seasoning blend. Very happy with my first visit here. Looking forward to trying the chicken or fish in the future.

I come here often when I want a good burger. Food always tastes amazing and the catfish has great flavor. I recommend to come here if your looking for some underated fast food.
It would be great if there was a drive thru option, but they do take orders in advance and you can order it for foot dash as well. I’m not from Minnesota, so it was fun to try fish n chips with catfish.
The cook did a great job. The cashier was on his phone which was odd considering all the tables and seats were covered in greese and food. No other customers in there..... So a dirty shop is inexcusable. Clean in your down time! I won't be back. Btw dawn dish soap will cut the greese.Food: 5/5
