The food was very good, fresh and hot. We ate around 12:45, it wasn't crowded. They ask that you wash your hands before entering the restaurant. The single washroom at the entrance has 4-5 sinks. Both of the two families in front of us closed the door behind them, so only their family members were in the washroom until they finished, judging by the water left on thefloor, their children may have splashed a bit.....
Wonderful people, awesome food. To my family and friends in Glennville, Ga y'all need to try their chicken. It's as good as what the hen house use to be. For dessert I recommend the cobblers they have apple and peach. I tried them both since it was my first eating there since they've been back open. Couldn't tell ya which was the best because the were both amazing.
Absolutely aweful!!! I've never been so disappointed in my life. No vegetables, no dressing, no meat. Absolutely nothing for people to even eat unless you wanted some cold mac and cheese that you had to scrape the pan for and some cold gravy! Paid almost $40 for 3 people to eat and there was NOTHING to eat! Smh I will never spend another dime in this place ever!!
I don't know why it is called seafood it has a country buffet. I have tried them several times and I just don't like it there at all. First you have to go into a unclean room and was your hands, you are touching a unclean door. The person greeting you is grouchy, service sucks, food is okay, buffet is small, and room just has a unclean atmosphere. Many many go there a say they love it. For the life of me I just don't get it.
Always good, home cooking and plenty of it! The wait staff is always super sweet and helpful! The cashier was not friendly but not unfriendly and she didn't even smile but she also didn't thank us. There is a different charge for cash or credit card.
Love eating here after church on Sundays. Staff is always supper nice and always a good variety on the buffet. The fish is my favorite!
I have lived near here for ten years. Never eaten in this place before. I am a very discerning eater of home cooking. I know what it is suppose to taste like. This is not the place for discerning eaters of home cooking. Light coat of grease on everything. The trays for the buffet would take a good finger print.....or a good palm print. My first impression on entering was, "Marine Corps mess hall!", but without the good Marine Corps food. Try the "Farm House Café" in Adrian, Georgia for a good reference point. They know how to cook home cooking at that restaurant.
I see the bad reviews but Captains corner have been around for years I'm sure now it has changed alot but back in the day it was my heart Family dinners reunions gatherings I know they did good what's going on now I don't know cause I've been eating there since 14now 35 the last time I went I was 21 or 23 was not like it used to be! They used to be great and banging back in the day and trust me they made they're money
Good country food on buffet. Waitress attentive. Carpet covering floor is very stained. Could use a good cleaning.
The food was great. The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful.
