Hello my name is" Tom Barton” I am the president and founder of Car Hampton Auto detailing and Auto Wash
My love for cars started when I worked with my father on his race cars when I was about six or seven years old. My duties then among other things were to sand and mask off cars to get them ready for paint. It wasn’t too long until I was painting and polishing the vehicles myself.
In 1978 I started to work on race car at our local track and later worked on race cars that ran in the Daytona 500. My love for cars continued. I detailed and repaired cars for a hobby at first then decided to turn it into a business.
Soon after moving to the Hampton’s in 1989 I begun my auto detailing career starting at the famous old Bridge Hampton Road Course where I had the privilege to work on many fine and historically vintage race cars and historical mussel cars.
Soon thereafter I started my own business, “ Car Hampton Auto Detailing" I specialized in providing detailing services to small auto body and restoration shops that didn’t have a dedicated auto detailer.
Today Car Hampton consists of a group of truly passionate team members that value professionalism above all else.
We specializes in providing high quality detailing and Auto Wash in our detailing shop or at our clients locations. Throughout the years we have detailed everything from classic, collectable, and exotic cars, to RVs and travel trailers and classic aircraft, not to mention thousands of daily drivers. We maintain ongoing training and support from major product manufactures to insure we are on the cutting edge of the auto detailing industry.

Being in the vehicle reconditioning and preservation service since 1989, we have cleaned, polished and waxed everything from daily drivers to million dollar classic cars to vintage aircraft.
If your vehicle's paint doesn't shine, we have the knowledge and skills to diagnose and polish the finish to a durable and brilliant shine. If your interior leaves much to be desired, we will thoroughly clean and shampoo it and leave it fresh and spotless.
