Dr. Jeffery Howard was my cardio doctor 10+ years. He is VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, has a great bed-side manner, and cares for his patients. He's fully involved with my care with my other doctor's, and plays a key role in making sure I'm receiving the best care possible. He's extremely busy, but still finds time to be on standby whenever I had surgery/procedures with other doctor's. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Howard & his team. Dr Howard and Emory Decatur are proof of how bad Healthcare system is in America. The office is dirty the staff and Dr have NO RESPECT FOR YOUR HEALTH OR TIME! Very expensive for low quality care, they also charge what they want, when they want. Dr Howard KNOWS that my husband's symptoms are exacerbated by hunger, he was scheduled for a cath at emory Decatur at 1pm, the Dr decided to come late apparently very common according to the staff he started the surgery at 3pm, my husband spent over 22hrs hungry because of this procedure. He came and spoke to me after the cath and told me he would call me after his collegue is done overlooking things and that my husband would be back. I asked if we were going home tonight he said yes, my husband gets wheeled in by the nurses who tell me he will be kept overnight. DR Howard calls me back I ask again and he confirms that we won't be spending the night, my husband got transfered to a room and admitted because Dr Howard decided to come late. WE ARE FORCED TO PAY FOR A HOSPITAL ADMISSION BECAUSE OF HIS INCOMPETENCE. We haven't spoken to him at all, our anxiety through the roof because we have no answers and are unable to reach Dr Howard. We are still at the hospital waiting on DR Howard AGAIN to discharge us, and you guessed it he is late AGAIN, so a 6hrs total procedure now has become 24hrs. Dr Howard AND Emory Decatur are a disgrace to the medical profession!

Horrible staff!! I was a new patient, i am on wirkers comp. I called to make an appt to notify them of my situation. Went to my appt arrived about 1hr 45 mins early. As i sat for over an hr i wasnt given any paperwork to complete so i went to inquire. Only to be told by those people that they fsiled to contact workers comp for approval cause that lady took her a stress day!! Talking about stress try my back pain and cardiac condition!! Then she wanted me to contact workers comp, which is her job!! And i hate to say this but its that old “ black women “ stuff going on!! Trouble trouble place , no customer service!!

I went to this office last year 1/24/19 and was told that I only needed to check with doctor Howard once a year. Fast forward to today, I was billed for missing visits that I never scheduled with the doctor. Than the bill is 165. They sent it to collections and did not call me or email me with any outstanding amount! I called and spoke to the office administrator and she was very rude and hung up on me. Do not go to this office- they lack professionalism.

I came here for a visit a few weeks ago. The initial visit was fine, but then they scheduled a followup visit without my knowledge. Then when I didn't show up for the visit I didn't know about they billed me $160. After that, I got a call from them about ANOTHER visit I didn't schedule. This place is out of control, and I wouldn't recommend it.
