Care Companion Health Services assist people living with disabilities to live independently and in housing of their personal choice.
Care Companion Health Services assist people living with disabilities to live independently and in housing of their personal choice. In order to foster the consumer's optimal level of independence within their home environment and community, we will provide advocacy, independent living skills training, peer counseling, information, referrals and the tools to direct their own personal assistance, at no cost to the consumer. To do this, the person with a disability becomes an employer and hires their Personal Care Attendant.
The consumer can decide to hire a family member or someone else other than their spouse to work for them. This freedom of choice gives them a peace of mind knowing that their personal care and assistance with activities of daily living are being done by someone that they know and trust in the comfort of their home.
We are approved by Missouri Department of Health and Senior Service and licensed by the state of Missouri. Our services are funded with federal and state funds. Private pay is also welcomed.
